Good transformer
Used with a variety of appliances. A milk frother, some battery chargers, a toaster a hifi receiver. It does deliver at least 1500 Watt and probably the specified 1700.

This Transformer is super quiet.
This is an awesome transformer. The one I had before would make a vibrating sound that was an annoyance. This one is super quiet. No electrical charge sound at all. It is small and lightweight and fits in to the corner very well. This was also the only transformer I could find on the market with MET certified and conforms to UL Standards so, I can use this in my office. I am super excited to use this.Thank you so much for such an awesome product.

Very satisfied in Ethiopia
The transformer arrived efficiently. It was heavy as expected but not too difficult to transport. Once in Ethiopia it connected easily and worked flawlessly.

Well worth the price, worked with a Vitamix
Used this to convert from 220/240V to 110/120V while I was working overseas for about 8 months. It worked flawlessly with a Vitamix blender, cuisinart boiled egg maker, clothes steamer, large guitar amplifier, etc. I didn’t try using anything else at the same time as the blender since based on amps (11.5) x volts (120) = watts (1,380) it would be getting close to the 1700 watts rating for this item. I never experienced any issues though it does come with an extra fuse just in case. This is very quiet (virtually silent) and doesn’t get hot! I am very pleased with my purchase. It’s a bit heavy but still lighter than others I’ve used previously. I can never go back to one of the generic ones like I had when deployed in Iraq. That thing felt like it was going to catch on fire (too hot to even touch) and made a loud buzzing sound. The Krieger is expensive but well worth the price based on its performance for my needs. And the USB charging port was a lifesaver to keep my phone charged the first couple of days out of country before I could buy a USB charger locally (I won’t forget to buy one of those in advance next time). Just make sure you bring an adapter with you so you can plug this into the wall wherever you travel. I suppose travel will pick up again at some point...
