WARN 83664 Contactor with Electric Cables for M8000, XD9000, and 9.5XP-S Winches

Loved this product. I needed it for an older M8 warn winch that had a rusted old control box. The fitment was perfect and it works great with the winch.

If you have experienced the oil filled solenoid problem of locking out on WARN winches, you need this.The contactor control gets hot at the same rate as the motor and will only lock out when the motor is too hot to continue. The 1940's technology solenoid gets very hot, very fast and locks out rendering the winch useless until they cool down. Can take up to 15 minutes in my experience.Amazon was absolutely fantastic in shipping this item. Ordered it out of stock with a 2 month back order delay. Amazon located the box and shipped it far sooner! Simply outstanding customer service. Why buy anywhere else?If you have a WARN winch you need this improved control. And this is the place to buy it.

A great upgrade over the original solonoid setup. Better water resistance and less connections that can fail.

I would give it more stars but the fact it does not come with a hand control at this price point is absolute garbage. The value of this item is not there, I should have just bought a badlands vs trying to revive my old warn. Also it would be great if it came with a wiring diagram to add an in cab switch .. might be my last Warn purchase which is a shame
