MICROBE-LIFTALGA2.5 Algaway 5.4 Algae Control Treatment for Ponds and Water Gardens, Safe for Koi Fish, Goldfish, Plants, and Decorations, 2.5 Gallons

First, I only use this in an old improvised pond/ pool (maybe 20 gallon) improvised from my 2 year old sons splash pool. I was worried about killing the fish but I added a capful, let it sit a few days and added the fish. They are still swimming! Should note directions say to make sure your pond is aerated so I bought a solar powered aerator and stuck the panel on the side with 2 side tape. Aerated the crap outa the pond/ splash pool. Happy fish. No algae whatsoever after 1 month!

Nothing bad to say about this product. So far it has helped to clear the water in a neglected goldfish pond. I would purchase it again

I purchased this after it was recommended to me for use in my pond to clear up the algae and the green water. I have used 2 gallons and unfortunately my pond still has algae and the water is still green.

Pros: it does what it’s supposed to do, KILLING algae. Follow the directions and you’ll get the results you want. The images I have posted may be a little misleading, the first photo is about a 2 weeks ago and the 2nd photo is now, the algaecide killed the algae but it didn’t fix the color of the pond; That was the pump. Which, by the way, $79 on Amazon. Works great.Cons: killed my fish, snails, shrimp, everything in my pond dead. 2 beautiful koi, an apple snail, an Inca snail, and an assassin snail. This is most likely due to the algae dying and sucking the oxygen out of the pond.

I was very satisfied with the clarity of my pond, although I still need to continue to scoop out the green algae. This is the third product I've used and I am now going to order on a subscription.
