I wear an open face helmet when I ride my motorcycle. This hood serves a number of purposes for me. First, it helps hold my helmet in place a little better. Also the side flaps help minimize road noise while keeping me ears warm. And finally the face mask protects the lower portion of my face, from the nose down.I put on the hood and adjust the sides and mask. Then I put on my eye protection and finally my helmet. The only minor issue I have is the mask is a little too tight across my nose. But because it greatly reduces the force of the wind hitting my face, it makes it much easier to breath normally while riding at highway speeds.Well worth the money.Review update 08/20/2020: I decided to upgrade my riding gear to a full face modular helmet. So while I no longer need this hood to help cover my face, it now serves a new role. I put this on before I put on my helmet, and then pull the mask up over my mouth and nose. I snug up the helmet strap and then pull the mask down under my chin before I close the helmet.Now, as a result of the mask society we have become, if I go into a store for example, I just pull the front of my helmet up, pull up the mask to cover my nose and mouth and go about my business. No need to remove my helmet just to put on a mask.

No complaints. Works as it should. Face coverage up to just below the eye. If you lower face part it covers your neck & keeps it warm. It also keeps your ears & head warm. I like it.

I work outside and got this for the colder months and I love it! It fits well and the design is very convenient so I can use it as a toque and then pull down the neck warmer when it’s a little bit colder. It keeps me warm, especially with the ear covers, and the fabric is fairly breathable which assists with (although does not completely eliminate) the fogging up of glasses/goggles when using the neck/face warmer.
