Great compressor, very poor quality control!
Took receipt of one of these units, direct from Quincy last week, and already having problems with it. This was the 3rd unit that Quincy sent over, and the second one in a row that had a leak upon delivery. Because of the hassle involved and receiving a defective unit prior to this, Quincy performed a thorough, two-day manual QC of this unit to ensure there were no issues prior to shipment. This included filling the unit to operating pressure and checking it hours later to ensure no leak down of pressure, or so I was told.Sure enough, upon receipt, the unit already has a consistent and slow leak. There is immediate loss of pressure by the time the unloader has finished hissing (approx. 10 seconds), after which the tank continues to lose pressure at an appreciable rate (1 psi/minute), after which it tapers off to a very slow leak.Quincy was unable to explain how this slipped their supposed rigorous and manual QC process, or were they able to get any warranty support going. We tried to schedule a technician from their regional partner, R.W. Lindsay, but the tech refused to come out and service the unit.Quincy's "No Bull Warranty" appears to be more of a "Bull**** No Warranty" at this point.Cannot recommend them or this unit, as the QC is absolutely embarrassing and two leaky units in a row is unacceptable.Update: Issue was determined to be a sluggish/faulty tank check valve, which Quincy did get replaced for us. I am still appalled by the quality control, however. Quincy went out of their way to give good customer service, and I applaud them, but their assemblers and QC folks did not make it easy for them.
