mCover Hard Shell Case for 15.6" Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575 / E5-576 Series Windows Laptop (Black)

Fits perfectly on my 15.6 acer laptop . I like the felling of the added protection , although I must admit , I don't know how much it really protects it from a fall . It definitely protects it from surface scratches and that sort of thing . I also like the look of the shell , I have the black shell ,which , doesn't have any logos it's just an appealing progression of textured lines , which , gives it an elegant look . I would suggest a careful check of those shells with different collars , I think some of them have some sort of logo , but , if that doesn't bother you I recommend that you give it a shot , after all , It is your laptop and you should fell happy with what ever look pleases you . For my part I'm very happy with the purchase and would definitely do it again .

One star because It fits my Acer aspire E 15 33bm and looks exactly as pictured BUT I ordered clear and was sent black, also it doesn't offer any protection whatsoever. I got it because of the cheap plastic embodying the laptop itself would show finger pressure through the screen upon opening and closing the lid. This case did not change the flex pressure whatsoever. Very upset with this purchase.

This is all but essential for an owner of one of the laptops this was made for, as they feel terrifyingly fragile otherwise. It adds just enough material to make the computer feel durable while barely adding any weight or heft. It appears to be made of high quality plastic and has a vented bottom, though how it handles wear and tear has yet to be seen. The bottom piece is elevated a bit in the spots where there are vents in this model, which is good attention to detail. The pieces snap on and don't budge a bit. I had an issue where one of the hooks dug into a groove in my monitor and started splitting the monitor chassis, but that was more user error and didn't cause any damage. The feet are elevated and provide excellent traction. This won't provide any protection from falls or anything(ergo the case being shatterproof is kind of a moot point), but will definitely keep your PC looking pristine underneath if you ever want to resell it.There are two legs you can pull down to elevate the keyboard as well, which is a nice feature. The locking mechanism for the legs is a bit disconcerting and feels like it might not stand up to too much abuse, but after some stress testing, it seems like those concerns may be unfounded. The legs would benefit from an upgrade, but it's hardly a reason to knock a star off for.I purchased the black cover, which seamlessly matched my model. The corrugations and slight texturing look sleek while also being easy to grip.

This is a great product if you're bringing your laptop around campus or work. It's great for workspaces or the classroom. It's a very easy install, and it seems very secure. Vents aren't covered so overheating won't be a problem. Doesn't seem extremely protective though. It works for protecting your laptop from everyday use, the occasional bump in the side of your desk, a fall from a chair. Would not reccomend if you just want to carry only your laptop everywhere. Id reccomend also getting carrier bag, or just a good backpack if you're traveling a lot with it. The best thing about this case is the pop out stand, which elevates the laptop, giving a nicer angle if needed.

I got the blue, which is a lovely color. It snapped on easily and seems to give more strength to the rather bendy cover of the Acer Aspire. It also looks quite nice, and doesn't really add any weight. I feel more confident now that my laptop won't break as I schlep it around. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but I would recommend it.

This does not fit my computer like it said it would. The corners are 90° and most computers are rounded corners. Not ment for Acer computers other than that a great sturdy product

Rear feet silcone pads don't make contact when retracted or extended so the computer slides easily on the desktop. I had to wedge a pencil under the retracted feet so the pads would make contact with the desktop. Design and evaluation missed this flaw. It looks good snapped on easily and will prevent scratching and smudges.

Carrying my laptop (Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4) in my backpack was causing it to get scratched. I bought this case to protect my laptop and save its resale value. The case snapped on easily. It fits perfectly. I use the feet when I'm using my laptop at my desk because the angle created makes typing much more comfortable. It's been 5 months of continual use and I've had no problems. It's taken on several scratches. I'm glad the case is taking them on instead of my laptop. The scratches on the case are also not noticeable unless you're looking for them. I bought it in black and it has a very clean and simple look. My only complaint is that there was a sharp edge on one of the corners, but I easily smoothed it over. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend!
