Great Audio quality
An excellent choice. The audio bible is well engineered to provide hours of continuous listening. I love the ESV Dramatized version for 2 reasons, It brings alive each word and verse in a very understanding way, and the slower speed of the narratives allows me to keep up with the speech as I am able to read the scripture along with it. This was very important for me since I am a somewhat slow reader anyway.I first ordered the NKJV version and I found it an excellent choice also except that the speech was faster than I could keep up with by reading. I contacted the manufacturer and received fast and courteous help. I was able to "swap" my memory card with the one they sent to me, the ESV dramatized. What a difference! The manufacturer is so easy to work with. I would say, enjoy whatever version you choose, your purchase of this audio bible is well worth it.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
I really love this audio Bible player. Years ago I did a lot of in-depth research on what were the best and most accurate English translations of the Bible. The one I finally settled on was the new American standard version of the NASB. It is considered by most experts in scholars to be the most accurate English translation. Overtime, I started noticing that the NASB worded certain scripture verses differently. They almost seemed worded awkwardly to me and hard to understand. I’ve been slowly going back to my new King James version specifically for scripture memorization. I just like the flow and the structure of the new king James version scriptures versus the NASB. so when I decided to buy this audio Bible, I settled on the new king James version. Of course I still like the NASB and I think it’s a very good translation. I just like the flow and sound of the new king James version better.I’ve always loved the scripture verse “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God”. Of course it’s very important and great to actually read the word of God. But I think there’s something special about hearing the word of God. And that’s why I love this audio Bible player.I love that it’s very easy to use. And one of the BIG things I really love about it is that the voice is not dramatized. Dramatization voices always irritated me. Is very easy to understand and straightforward with no dramatization at all. I love that.I love the small as I plan on taking it with me when I travel and go on trips. The Instruction manual they give you has a website where you can go and watch videos on how to use the unit. This was very helpful. I did not even have to read the manual. I just watched the videos on their website. My only teeny tiny complaint is that I could not get the hand strap attached to the unit. I tried for like 15 minutes, lol and finally gave up. It’s no big deal. But I would like to attach the strap. I noticed on the videos on the website, they don’t have the strap on their units. But if the developers read my review, maybe they could post a short video on their website on how to attach the hand strap. That would be awesome. But overall, this is one of the best purchases I made in years. I’m very very happy with it.God bless.

One of my bucket list items is to read the entire bible ...
... but I've had more failed attempts than I can count. I think this product is going to make that goal attainable for me.It is my intention to read the bible in it's entirety over the course of a year.Along the way, I've discovered that I comprehend this type of literature best when I can listen and read at the same time. This device allows me to input the exact book & chapter that I'm "assigned" for any particular day.I am using this player in conjunction with the Life Application Study Bible NKJVas well as one of the schedules from BibleStudyTools.com. (But a simple google search for bible reading plans will provide many options.)I purchased the Kindle version of the study bible, (which allows me to enlarge the text to a comfortable size, jump to specific readings and then to the relevant study discussions.) This combination of tools cements my comprehension experience and has made the bible totally accessible to me -- for the first time ever, I feel that I am understanding, (and enjoying), what I am reading. It takes a mere 15 minutes a day to do my routine, but of course, one could listen straight through if they desired to do so.Pros of this device:--lightweight. Is small and portable, but not so small that it gets lost.--easy to operate, once you understand how it works--clear and pleasant enunciation of the text--arrived fully charged and appears to retain its charge well--clear digital display of reading location and battery level--many different versions of the bible are available (AMP, KJV, NASB, NIV, NKJV, NLT, NRSV at the time of this review)--the dmbibleplayer.com website has an instructional video, which is very helpful.--does not require the internet to be usedCons:--the font of the manual is small, so it's uncomfortable to read - it is necessary for learning the device. (I did not have internet access at the time of it's arrival, so was dependent on the manual.)--If you don't know the book numbers & want to navigate to a specific book/chapter, you need to look them up in the manual - which is a cumbersome. I experimented with a few ways around this. Pic #1 shows a list of the track numbers taped to the back of the device. This was too small for my aging eyes, so I made a little tag with packing tape and attached it to the back. (Pic #2) Problem solved.--the numbers and symbols on the buttons are embossed but not inked, so it's difficult to see them. (I may ink them in with a Sharpie)--expensiveOverall, this is a terrific device and the "Pros" far outweigh the "Cons"My biggest issue was the cost - but at the end of the day, I'm very happy to have this device and believe that it is money well spent.
