This stuff is amazing, don't mind the small size a little goes a long way, my etches are nice , expensive for the small bottle, but it lasts a while. Smells stinky definitely wear gloves.

Worked on Three Pairs of Eyewear to Remove AR-Coating
I was hesitant to purchase this with the mixed reviews and product description not recommending it for "cleaning glasses". However, I believe I understood the reason behind the "failed" attempts to repair eyewear and then made an attempt on my own pairs (all high index polycarbonate lenses).First and foremost, one must understand that this product does not remove "scratches" from lenses. Rather, it removes the coating (anti-reflective) that has started to flake/peel off thus giving a "cloudy" appearance. Second, DO NOT USE ON GLASS LENSES. This product is intentionally used to etch glass. Therefore, you must be sure your eyewear lenses are plastic (polycarbonate) and not glass. Otherwise, you will ruin your pair of eyewear.I had three old pairs of eyewear that were stuffed in drawers because the coating on the inner surface was starting to peel and make it nearly impossible to see/read. I first tested a small area on one pair to see if this product was capable of removing the coating. To my delight, it worked great with a single 30 minute application to the inner side of the lens. Since it worked so well on the first pair, I tried on my other two pair of eyewear and had mixed results. One of the other pairs worked as the first pair, but the third pair required multiple applications (five) to fully remove the coating. However, it was capable of removing all of the coating and is a great improvement from its former condition. One additional point that must be made is that you just removed the AR coating so will now get "artifacts" while wearing your reconditioned lenses. The reflection from other light sources are increasingly noticeable now and you might notice more any deep scratches. This product does not buff out scratches so don't expect it.Overall, I am glad I purchased this product and used it to recondition my lenses. I now have 3 pairs of eyewears that are usable and great backup pairs in case I lose or break my current pair.

took the small scratches off my glasses
I used this to get rid of lots of small scratches on my glasses (both lenses). It worked perfect. It took the tint off too, but I guess that has to be expected.

Worked great!
Etched glass vase, butter dish and canisters from ikea and a Pyrex baking dish. However, it did not work on the ikea bakeware, so that material was not etchable. Loving this new hobby.
