Elitech Digital Manifold Gauge 2-Way Valve with Thermometer Clamps for HVAC Systems, LMG-10

A+, this is great value for the money esp for the diy'er like me. I've used these several times for r410a, works fine to check the evap & condenser temp, along with sc & sh, and to then set the charge. Other refigerants are built into the selection that u can use. I have not used the other functions like vacuum etc. One neg - I really don't like the carrying case cuz it requires the refig hoses to be entirely disconnected & store them in the case's sleeve. I therefore don't use the case in order to keep the hoses connected to the guage so that air does not get into the hoses. Fyi be sure to zero out the scales before using to prevent inaccurate readings and to prevent an 'eo4' message which will lock up the thing & require a reset.

Great set. I should have gotten the 4 valave. Durable, temp clamos are more than fair quality but not premium. Can go through the batteries. On daily use for me about every 3 weeks. No micron setting however does go to neg 14 hg. Performs sub and super. Every refrigerant on board. Also compact enough for back pack or bucket. For the price it does and it is just as accurate as top level units 3 times the cost. Also nice plastic case I still have in my van.

I bought the LMG-10W to diagnose my 4 ton heat pump that's been tripping out with a high pressure alarm.The tool is well made and the plastic housing is thick and robust. Mine came with a carry case for the hose set, clip-on temperature probes and the manifold gauge. The hoses seem reasonable, not Yellow Jacket or Fieldpiece but it's not in that price point.The hoses aren't low loss but wery little refrigerant escaped while connecting to the liquid line while the system was running and none leaked while connecting to the vapor line.The data logging is a nice feature in the app but if the connection to the gauge is lost the app discards the data instead of saving it.I used the vacuum test and it correctly detected a slow leak.All in all it's a great tool.

I am a rooky DIY'er, and this gauge set made my first install so easy. It calculates everything for you and puts it on one screen on an app. I see no reason to buy an expensive one unless you are a full time, high price hvac person.

These manifolds are very pretty, nice premium build and has a nice User interface but it only lasted a week. UI froze on me and once the battery ran out, that was it. It never came back on. Too much tech and over engineering. Just keep it simple Elitech! Thanks for the refund!!

Not bad for someone who works with ac units a small amount of time. They stopped working after 3 months. I expected them to last a little longer. Better off getting decent quality analogs or investing in a more expensive field piece. No micron gauge which is expected not to be in due to price. Display is clear but durability is not there. The hook kept unscrewing which got in the way of work so not the best. Ok starter set or for a handyman.

Great kit and the case holds hoses and extra parts too.
