FriendChips 16 oz Tutti Frutti Better Than Monkey Biscuits

Bought these to replace monkey biscuits and the gliders like these better and they seem to have better ingredients.

I was looking for another choice than monkey biscuits for my prairie dog babies. I was told to feed them monkey biscuits, 1/2 biscuit/day each, as a treat and for the added protein, but I didn't like all of the ingredients and went searching for another option. I found FriendChips and while they still have one ingredient that is not optimal for prairie dogs, they appeared to be the best choice over all. Fortunately, the babies both love the FriendChips and when one finishes first, the other one will squeak, chirp and otherwise do it's best to relieve her "sister" of the remainder of her treat. My older prairie dog, on the other hand, will either eat or refuse them as she sees fit. She's always been extremely fussy about her food. The treats are also very hard and are perfect to keep the teeth worn down. All in all, as the babies are happy with their treat, so am I.

I ran out of the usual food for my kinkajou so I ordered these. She liked them and did well on them, but the price is why the 4 stars. Definitely would order again in a pinch, but won't be a staple in a her diet.

The ingredients are great - BUT! Once the package is open, the biscuits become harder than a rock. Very difficult to break into smaller pieces. SoakIng them doesn't work. My parrot with her break and my hornbill with her massive bill would not eat them. Very disappointed. Waste of money.

Gliders love it will buy again

My gliders love these. They smell sweet like fruit and my little sugies pop their noses out of their snuggle sack when I bring the bag close.
