A fine quality scraper
I ordered the Hyde scraper after having dealt with other products that had one common issue: the blade would retract into the frame with anything other than light pressure. The Hyde works great in that regard---very solid construction, and the blade stays extended under heavier scraping pressure! The concave sides of the frame also better allow for firm gripping. I would have given this 5 stars, except it is difficult to retract the blade for storage. But this is a minor gripe, and I highly recommend this product. Also made in the USA, by the way. I use the scraper for removing dried paint from glass, which often entails firm pressure.

Don’t buy it!
This tool is so dangerous plus it did not come with a blade. Putting a blade in it took forever and trying to remove it and close it was impossible that I took cardboard and wrapped it up and threw in the garbage instead of sending it back and the workers getting hurt by it.
