I rarely leave reviews and even more rarely does a product exceed my expectations but this journal is exceptional. The quality and build is exactly as advertised. It's hand made by a small locally owned company and the rustic pages are even more sturdy than I feared they might be. In addition to a beautiful piece of art, it's a very practical, usable, writer's journal. Super inspirational!

This is hands down the most beautiful thing I own. I am so glad I got it. I feel like I am stepping back intime when I touch it. You can feel the craftmanship and love that went into making it. The pages are thick and durable and fabric like. I can't even describe the pleaure I get from writing in it. Don't hesitate, just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I was wary of purchasing this book due to claims of mold being on it, but i chanced it anyways.No mold on the brown large version, or any funky smells.In fact the cover doesn't look aged at all which is no problem for me personally.The pages look aged though which is the selling point, so you will be happy with that.Just a guestimation, but maybe the maker had a bad batch and straightened it out with quality control.I really dont know, but all I can tell folks is that "the largest size brown version" is legit, and as the title says, I received the book in excellent condition on 9.8.22.There you go.Hope this helps some of you

Was just what I was looking for. Weathered looking journal.

I was looking for a new journal and this is perfect. I have always loved this style of book and was so excited to find it. It looks just like it does in the pictures. The pages are made of thick, quality paper. The binding on the side is well done and holds the pages together perfectly. It is easy to flip through the pages. I love gel pens and don’t have to worry about the ink bleeding through. The back cover was slightly damaged but I think that it adds to the rustic vibe of the book. You truly get what you pay for with this book. You can not go wrong.
