WilliamsTS51709 1/2 Drive Turbo Socket, 18mm

Caliper bracket bolts was put on with an impact and rounded off, tried vice grips pipe wrench nothing just kept eating away at the head, just got this out of the mail less than hour ago both bolts are out with ease 1/2 inch ratchet with piece of pipe took them off without hesitation highly recommended

So, this one is quite elusive, had to order from the US, nowhere to be found in Sweden or the EU.25 usd to buy, plus another 25 for shipping. Hilarious, but what to do when the lug nuts on your Jag is stuck?Worked great though, no regrats

When you buy socket sets and a regular socket removal set, neither include a size 18. So you have to cough up $25 to buy one... on the flip side, this tool performed as advertised.

I had a rounded off bolt on my 96 Crown Victoria passenger side brake caliper that wouldn't come off even with my Milwaukee impact and a breaker bar I almost welded a socket to the bolt but I found this and pounded it on the bolt with a hammer and it came it off with my impact in 20 secs, I would give it more stars if I could, definitely gonna get a set of these!

I had an 18mm bolt rounded-off on a brake caliper bracket. No room to work with, this was the only way other than to borrow a mig-welder. Most manufacturers don't include an 18mm socket in sets for these tools, so you're stuck buying it separately.Use is simple: Line up socket onto bolt and slowly tap with a hammer until it is on as much as possible. I ended up hitting pretty hard to fully seat this socket. You cannot presume this tool will work if you do not seat it upon the bolt properly. I then placed the breaker bar on the socket and it broke the bolt free on the first with zero slippage.Excellent quality. If you need to remove a rounded-off 18mm bolt, you can reply on this tool.

The socket itself is AMAZING . I had rounded off caliper bolts and wheel bearing bolts . This socket took them out like “ bitch please” great tool awesome quality no complaints. Shipping however was fumbled an slow . Confusion on quantity available on Amazon’s side . That’s why it got 4 stars .
