Paperlike 2.0 (Previous Model) for iPad Mini 8.3" (2021) - Screen Protector for Drawing and Writing like on Paper

I have used the less-than-ten dollar cheap knock off's for about six months. I was less than impressed with them, but was too lazy to change to more expensive one, which was 'Paperlike'.Also, $40 for two sheet seemed too much at the time, but when I installed this product on my daughter's iPad Pro 13", I could not help notice far better quality and actual paper like feeling when using the Apple Pencil. I bought this for my iPad Mini 6, installed it, and I am loving it since. Installation is not easy, but with patience, you can put this on without any bubbles or particles in it - recommend installing it in a shower booth - and enjoy much better quality in both transparency, anti-glare and most importantly actual paper like resistance.

I got the iPad MINI 2021 and struggled with the writing aspect of it. Nothing seemed smooth or easy to write. Paperlike took some focus to put on, and is definitely expensive, but well worth it. 100% enhanced my iPad user experience with writing, it makes it much easier, smooth, and enjoyable.

Protects the screen and gives a textured feel when taking notes.

I really like the feel of the screen protector. There is a video that shows you how to put it on. The owner of the company seems to care. Its a little expensive but its a great product. No complaints on its functionality. Does exactly what it’s meant to do. My IPad feels more like paper.

I was hesitant to spend $40 on screen protectors, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! This screen protector has made my love my mini even more than before. Improved my writing/drawing experience, helps with glare for sure and was easy to install with the provided video. Worth it for sure!

This product is overpriced and there are much better alternatives.Although the instructions for installation were very thorough it was still a time consuming PITA. Despite excessive care I still managed to have a small annoying bubble (<1mm) after installation that was actually caused by a little fleck of their cleaning cloth material.The writing experience was excellent as advertised. And that is where any praise ends.The viewing experience, fingerprints, and scratches were all simply awful. I ended up ripping it off after 4 weeks of use. To say I was amazed at the improved viewing experience after i had gotten used to the terrible optics from this product is an understatement.I have subsequently purchased Pen Tips 2: hard tip, soft tip, and magnetic textured writing screen protector. Any one of these is vastly superior at around the same price point.Yes I spent more buying all three types of Pen Tip products for my iPad Mini 6, but I am a perfectionist and I want exactly what I want. Paperlike wasn't it.I am now deeply satisfied and can write, draw, and watch crystal clear videos on my iPad thanks to Pen Tips

The media could not be loaded. I usually don’t write reviews , but I thought I would clear something up. The installation process if followed correctly is seamless and the paper like goes on flawlessly. This is my second device with paper like and one with paper feel (similar process) and no bubbles at all. Attached pics and video . So please don’t look at review complaining of putting it on. If I can do it , anyone can do it.

Product helps with writing on the screen and the anti-glare properties helps me a lot as I use my iPad even under sunlight. It is a significant improvement over writing without or on another type of screen protector.The only thing I would caution you on is to follow the installation instructions as given.

Caution: If you value absolute viewing quality over anything else, don't use Paperlike.This screen protector is less of a "protector" and more about enhancing the writing experience as well as touch screen experience in certain scenarios. I personally use my iPad Mini has a gaming iPad for rhythm games and this screen protector is excellent in reducing screen glare as well as improving the sliding operations. The stock screen catches your fingers when sliding and can be very frustrating in some situations.The writing experience is just up there with the iPad Pro. I don't write on the Mini but coming from the Pro I'd say this is one of the best screen protector you can buy for that purpose. It's also Amazon Prime eligible unlike some other better-reviewed brands to whom apparently only the US is a country that exists.

I did my own research and in the end I decided to go for this brand, but I wasn't convinced so I bought another one from another brand for my 12.9" ipad pro so I could compare them. I did more writing and sketching in the ipad pro than in the mini, obviously. but the wear was so bad in the mini that despite using a wet wipe after each use they would not go away. Moreover my apple pencil is not brand new, the nib is at least 2 years old. All of this after 3 weeks use. I removed the screen protector, but it back in envelope that came with and returned it straight away.

First of all the product. If you use an Apple Pencil it is a must have. Don’t got for any cheaper alternatives. This is what you need. It changes everything when it comes to your writing or drawing experience.Besides that I love these there are no fingerprints and so much reduced reflections.Now most importantly customer service. I had some issues in applying it and I reached out to customer care. I have never experienced this fast response time. Beside that they have a true meaning to caring for their customer. I am definitely a returning customer, a fan and also an ambassador of this product. And already recommended it to a couple of my friends.Thank you for a great product and amazing service.
