Q: Does this contain baking soda?

Yes, The Schmidt's Aluminum Free Natural Deodorant Bergamot and Lime DOES contain baking soda. Some of the other Schmidt aluminum free deodorants do not contain baking soda like the Jasmine Tea.

Q: Does anyone else have problems with the thing to swatch in the bottom? I cannot use it! Both are stuck

I've never had that problem. You may want to contact your distributor or the manufacturer.
