An awesome double paddle key
Just starting out in the world of CW, I am in no way an expert in what makes a good key. But, from my opinion of this key, I really like it. It is light weight and compact enough to fit comfortably in my off hand and the magnetic bottom really attaches itself to a base (I thought I was going to have to pry it lose lol) The selling point for me is that it isn’t made of all plastic and the price is very affordable.

Much better than expected with very minor disappointments
Very clever design! Much better than any of the 3D printed paddles that are everywhere. Looks like the body parts were produced using EDM and tumbled to provide super clean and precise cuts and edges. Incredibly solid with no play in the bearings. The magnetic return of the paddles is smooth with no springs to fiddle with. Magnetic mounting with the three magnets is strong and will hold up under vigorous keying. The only delicate part is the PC board that holds the jack and switch and makes the connections to the paddles. I say delicate because if you were to drop this chunk of stainless and have it land on the PCB the 1/8" jack or the reversing switch could be compromised but with even modest care that should never happen. For home use I cut and finished a 3"x4" quarter inch thick steel plate and added some single sided foam tape to the bottom to keep it from sliding around while in use. I found that just a few drops of water spread out on the bottom of the foam helps the assembly stick to the desk or pad of paper but lifts up without any problems when moving it to another location. I can see this being quite a nice paddle for SOTA or field day as it will stick to whatever piece of steel is convenient and hold tight. My disappointment is with the two adjustable grub screws that come installed and the fact that each screw required a different size hex key 1.5mm and 2mm, guessing burrs on the socket head were the culprit causing the discrepancy. The second set of grub screws that come with the kit have sharp points instead of flats for the contact surface and actually perform better anyway. The locking nuts are best tightened with a small 5.5mm metric ignition wrench and I was able to use a 0.0015mm shim to set the contact gap quite easily. I found this to be as much fun to use as my Begali and is less fussy to set up. The telescopic QuadroPack style shipping container does make a nice way to keep the unit clean and safe for transport. It's large enough to hold the key along with a shim and wrenches for making adjustments if necessary along with a double 1/8" male connecting cable. I was a little skeptical until I started playing with it and now I have to admit it really does deserve 5 stars.

Rugged Portable Key
Amazingly high quality key. This is a rugged and well constructed piece of equipment. Operation is smooth and adjustments are quite easy. Hex tool and a wrench are provided. The unit comes in a sturdy plastic carrying case suitable for taking the key to remote areas in your backpack or travel in luggage. Highly recommended.

Obviously not a Bengali key, but a nice bit of kit for the price.
Obviously not a Bengali key, but a nice bit of kit for the price. Solidly built with quality materials, and it looks really cool. I use a heavy Splendor Tools Jewelers Tool Block with rubber feet (a bit of over kill but looks nice) for a base in the shack and it stays put on the table. The magnetic feet allow it to stick nicely to the top of the metal rig cover in the field. (Be sure to put on the vinyl stickies on the magnetic feet to avoid scratching the paint) Why not a 5? The adjustment is a bit touchy and the dit paddle occasionally sticks a misfire (most likely my fault). Not a deal breaker but not perfect. Great for the price though. I highly recommend this a a flexible use budget key that looks and feels great.

pleasantly surprised
I have an assortment of paddles, a Kent Morse TP1-B, HA8KF magnetic paddle, and this one I just received. Doing a lot of POTA/SOTA and need lightweight portability (G90 radio used for backpacking not pictured). I figured I would sacrifice some performance and feel. This was definitely not the case. It turns out to be as comfortable as the others, and nearly as adjustable. I don't think I can adjust the magnetic force return, but it feels just right to me. The base magnets hold onto the radio well enough you can't pull it off, but need to slide it off the radio edge to remove it, but it does move around ever so slightly, and I still have to use one hand to hold it in place. I'm kind of surprised this compares so well with $250+ paddles. It really does, though. You can see in one picture it is mounted on the HA8KF steel plate. It even comes with a 3.5mm stereo cable which works with both my radios. I think if you protect the plug connector and the back end of this thing it should last - it seems built very well. I used an M3 hex nut driver and 2.5mm hex wrench (for the grub screws) to adjust the contacts. I would recommend having a nut driver with this, else I'm not sure how you adjust this easily. Summary: Highly recommended, would purchase again.

My first key, and I really like it.
I got my amateur radio license after the CW requirement was removed but decided to learn how for various reasons. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a key that I would be using to practice with and decided on this one after a little light research. It's very portable and compact so it fits into a small zippered pouch that I also use for the trainer and base. It's very comfortable and sensitive enough to make learning easy in my opinion. One bit of advice, you will definitely want to get a base for this as it's very light and needs something for the magnets to hold on to.

Nicely built and strong magnets
This paddle has helped me gain confidence in sending well-timed CW. I tried to use a straight key to send CW and realized I need more practice in getting my timing correct. When this is combined with my Icom 7300's keyer I can make sending a breeze. The grub screws help to make the keys as loose or tight as you want, so you can make it very responsive to your keying style. Using the reverse switch can be tricky as it's a small switch. The fit and finish of the key is nice as well, it's well-polished and smooth. The magnets also keep your key right where you want it and are very strong. One downside is that you need a 1/4" adapter for the Icom 7300 if you use the supplied 3.5mm stereo jack cable. That's negligible compared to having a nicely-built iambic paddle for your radio. It's a solid buy for anyone wanting to learn CW operation.

Well built key
Magnets are very strong, unit itself is well build and feels solid. Is adjustable for throw and can flick a switch for left or right handed operation. Very handy little iambic paddle, good for portable operations.

High quality
Excellent quality, compact solid feel . Well designed. Paddles are ball bearing mounted, resulting in smooth action. Magnetic base his handy but of course doesn’t work on non-ferrous surfaces. Excellent choice for field work. Great value
