Pretty quilt.

I would give it 5 stars but had a couple issues that had to be fixed. The quilt arrived with a smell I think from the sizing chemicals they use on fabric. Easy fix I washed it using the delicate cycle and I live in a warm climate so I’m able to hang it to dry. The smell is gone now, but where the stitching was there was lint stuck to the stitching is from the batting as show. That was also an easy fix I used a lint roller and it came off as shown in the photos. My only concern is I hope it doesn’t do that every time I wash it. I’ll wash it again after Christmas to be sure the batting is in tack. And it will last. The only other issue is, I’m so anal I noticed one of the pillow shams stitching is broken. It looks like it ran out of thread and when they put new thread on it wasn’t lined up correctly. I might tear out the stitching and restitch it so it’s one solid line. It’s on the contrast color so it’s noticeable to me. Or even easier I can put a throw pillow in front of it to hide it.Other than that I am very happy with it. There wasn’t another quilt I liked to replace this one and for the price. The construction of the patchwork is nicely stitched and the top stitching. Love the fact it’s cotton and it is real patchwork not a design screened on to look like a patchwork quilt. It is lightweight that I also like. For cold weather you can put blankets under it.

Not soft, its not supposed to be. Details in design are great; gotta look hard to see that it is not made of patchwork
