This is a nice controller and is compatible with all main features of Philips Hue. I don't think it works with some of the fancier features though. This unit is quiet (not like other versions which hum), and just works. Why can't everything in life be this simple. I have had these for a few months now and can say I have not had any issues with them. So would I recommend or buy again, yes without hesitation.

Firstly, when you buy all the bits necessary to use this product, it is great, really bright which makes all the difference from the £20-£30 complete LED kits and far more control. This controller specifically has 2 voltage out, so (as in my case) you can use it to run 2 separate LED cables with equal power, instead of daisy chaining LEDs, which may lose brightness over distance. When using all individual RGBW LEDs, this maxes out the wattage, so anything beyond 5m may affect brightness. Search for this product BTF-LIGHTING 5050 RGBW for an LED description of power explained. I ordered this individual controller as Amazon kept sending the wrong packaged/combined product (FUT038SA). After spending hours trying to connect, I spent hours online trying to dig out information - there's not a lot out there! Eventually I sent support emails to the manufacturers in China and the Amazon reseller, after a few days I got a blunt response from the manufacturer which helped guide me back on the correct path and hopefully this might help someone else too... The product descriptions and references for this whole range are really unhelpful, this product stated you needed a MiBoxer Gateway, which I also purchased via Amazon (WL-Box2). This didn't work as I should have purchased a ZB-Box1 or possibly ZB-Box2. (they look identical to their WL counterparts) The reference for this product is FUT038Z - the Z is important as there is another product exactly the same with the reference FUT038S, but they are totally different functions. The Z works with Zigbee, the S works with Wifi. This product will only connect to the Zigbee v3 interface - this is a unique (limited) network for connecting lights. So to use this controller, you will need Zigbee 3 Gateway (ZB-Box1) - again check the reference as WL-Box1 looks identical but is incorrect. Such a shame that there is no good guide out there that explains how to connect all these bits together!

Avoid this utter sack of steaming rubbish, it cuts out when dimming up. Bought 4 of these units, and all have the same issue on the latest firmware. Does this even on a 20A bench power supply with only 1A of LED strip on the output. All of these are going to go in the bin!

Prodotto molto valido, si integra tranquillamente con un coordinator Zigbee generico. Risponde bene quando viene pilotato. Lo consiglio. Nota che ho riscontrato. Il prodotto vuole avere a monte un alimentatore di buona qualità L'ho provato con un alimentatore nuova germany comprato sempre su Amazon ed emette un sibilo fastidioso quando fa la dimmerizzazione. Ho cambiato alimentatore di marca Relco che avevo già è quando fa la dimmerizzazione funziona alla grande. Quindi quando indicato nella descrizione è corretto.

Habe 2 gekauft. Im 12 V Betrieb funktioniert er wunderbar, alles auf Anhieb wie erwartet. Den 2ten haben ich an 24V angeschlossen und musste leider feststellen dass die Pulsweitenmodulation beim Dimmen (also unter 100%) einen fiesen und nicht gerade leisen Pfeifton erzeugt. Den 24 V Betrieb also vielleicht nur in lauten Umgebungen oder wenn nur auf 100% betrieben werden soll. Für mich so leider nicht tragbar, also geht der 2te wieder zurück.

Prinzipiell okay. Lässt sich mit Philips hue koppeln aber reagiert nicht auf jeden Befehl. Das Resetten des Miboxers über 5x Strom trennen hat bei mir trotz vielzähliger Versuche nicht geklappt und ich musste ihn umständlich wieder hinter einem Spiegel hervorholen um ihn manuell über die Reset Taste zurück zu setzen. Teils muss mehrfach der Schalter oder innerhalb der App ein Befehl für die Beleuchtung getätigt werden. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem Bewegungsmelder also ein No-Go. Ich würde den Miboxer aufgrund der Unzuverlässigkeit nicht nochmal kaufen.
