I bought the TabTime Big Button TV Remote and I’m quite pleased with it. The design is very simple and works exactly as advertised: it has seven large, clearly labeled buttons that cover all the essential functions, power on/off, volume up/down, channel up/down, mute, so you don’t get overwhelmed with unnecessary extras. Only needed this for the power and volume, so much more user-friendly than a load of unnecessary buttons on a remote. Setup was straightforward: the remote uses infrared and learns the controls from your existing remote. Functionally, it works reliably with my TV, the buttons respond correctly and the large button layout makes using the remote comfortable and intuitive, even for people who struggle with small buttons or complicated remotes. Given the price, it offers very good value. If you want a no-frills, easy-to-use replacement remote, especially suitable for elderly users, people with limited dexterity or anyone who dislikes modern over-complicated remotes, this is a solid choice that I'd highly recommend.

Bought this for my old mum whose sight is failing. I spoke to a guy who fitted mums tv aerial about remotes with big buttons he said they’re too complicated but I thought I’ve got to try something. Read the description of this and thought it sounded fairy simple, no code entering etc. When I started reading the instructions I thought there’s no way I’m going to be able to do this. Then I watched the video a couple of times, I’m quite technically minded but I need a dummies guide to everything. Works perfectly, I was worried that when I set it that would be it but you can change it. The guide was clear and when the penny dropped I realised how simple it was. You can’t programme every channel it’s just an up and down channel changer so if you want say 101 you have to press it 101 times. You can however preset the small button to your fave channel but I’m not sure if you can program it to a channel with double figures but mum only watches 5. Mum loves it she’s not afraid of changing the channels and pressing the wrong buttons anymore.

Honestly, I felt like I was doing a puzzle trying to understand the instructions. It took me a good 10 minutes to realise that you have to manually set each button individually on the new remote control with the old remote control. Once set up, it appears to work well. The build feels flimsy and cheap in the hand so I don't know if this will last if dropped etc. However, it does do the job that I purchased it for as my Father who has Dementia, tends to press every button on the other remote, so this gives him less buttons to play with.

Disappointed as write up says works with most T, V, s but purchased a top brand T, V but would not work with it at my brothers TV who has Dimentia.

Caring for a 93 year old Mum. It became clear that Mum could not see the buttons on her normal remote. And she was confused by all the channels. Got her a new, larger tv. That allowed me to set up a favourites list of channels, just BBC1, BBC 2, ITV1 and Channel 4. All other channels are hidden. I programmed the remote as you would expect, but with the spare black button, top right, programmed as the number 1, which gets her direct to BBC 1. She now has a very simple setup which she understands and can control. It was lovely to see her feeling in control and not frustrated.

I easily programmed this device to replace the remote control for my electric bedroom fan. The remote supplied with the fan was hopeless. This gadget is brilliant. Job done!

Bought for my partially sighted mother in law. Shes really happy with it. No more pressing buttons by mistake and waiting for someone to correct it for her. Easy to pair to the tv (Samsung)

Mit dieser Fernbedienung kann er nun endlich wieder selbstständig den Fernseher bedienen, ohne ständig um Hilfe zu bitten. Das bedeutet für ihn ein großes Stück Selbstständigkeit und Lebensqualität im Pflegeheim. Klare Kaufempfehlung! Wer eine einfache, seniorengerechte Fernbedienung für Angehörige sucht, die mit Technik nicht mehr gut zurechtkommen, wird hier fündig. Es war das Beste, was ich für meinen Vater kaufen konnte!

Facile à programmer et fonctionne très bien Un petit plus serait différentes couleurs pour d'une part le volume et d'autre part les chaines et peut être aussi un choix de couleurs différentes (au moins noire) pour la télécommande elle même

This worked great. I was able to program the channel buttons to work the cable box, but the volume buttons to work the TV. This circumvents so much confusion for my elderly mother!
