Used drive sent
The seller sent a used drive even though they sell it as new and it does not work

Look at picture of drive in the ad.. its a SATA interface
BUYER BEWARE : Very deceiving ad, looks like a sata but identified as an SAS when received it was not even in a sealed package so it was probably used and sold as new. some layperson may not understand the difference between a SATA and SAS, so it was not described properly . One of the drives looked like a sata interface but upon close inspection discovered that the SAS divider was altered and 3 pins bent back so it was received damaged. .. Instead of sending back to seller I did an RMA with SEAGATE and they will replace it for free. .Seller offered to have it returned but with restocking fees shipping paid by buyer and fees to AMAZON. so not even worth returning . ...
