I do like to think of myself as a crafty person, i love to make air dry clay creations and for me the best part is painting them afterwards and see them come to life, i find painting to be a very relaxing pastime. What i like about these acrylic paints is they are so versatile and can be used on wood, clay, paper and canvas.Each tube is 120ml and i find these paints go a long way and will last me a long time. They are water based and non toxic so are safe for children to use as well (3 years and upwards). Can we talk about the bright and colourful colours?💕 i always like to check the paint names before using, so in case the colours are important to you here is what is included:1. lemon yellow.2. Titanium white3. Ultramarine4. Burnt umber5. Orange6. Leaf green7. Black8. Crimson redYou get a nice variety and they can of course be mixed together to create even more colours. The paints can be diluted with water or used straight from the tube, i tend to use them both ways. These acrylic paints are great value for money in my opinion, for the price you really can't go wrong with these. Unleash the artist in you and go get creative.

The eight 120ml tubes have screw-on caps with flip open tops and a seal beneath to be removed before use.The paint tubes are plastic with good thick walls and the screw-on caps fit well. The tubes hold a good assortment of fairly standard colours which should be sufficient to mix most shades that you would want. Being acrylic paints, they are not only suitable for brush painting but with the addition of a small amount of water, they can be used for airbrush spraying (which is my intent).I have tried mixing some colours from the tubes and they combine easily and brush well. I also diluted the paint for airbrush spraying and found the right ratio to be around 3:1 or 4:1 water:paint mixture. The water/paint mixture sprays well and gave a good even coverage after a few trial runs.The pigments in these paints are nice and strong meaning you don’t need a thick coat for good colours. I am very happy with the 1ABOVE Store acrylic paints, thirteen quid for a quantity that will last a fair time seems a bargain to me and I am pleased to recommend them.

It's water based so washes off your hands fairly easily without leaving stains.Acrylic is a good paint for beginner artists to use, it goes on smoothly and if you make a mistake and want to wash it off, that is possible although it will leave some residue behind, depending on what your surface is, you can usually hide residue with another colour over the top.I've just used these paints on a stone garden knome, the paint went on like a dream but I will need to varnish over the top as it will sit in the garden in all weathers.When you wash the palettes and brushes just use ordinary washing up liquid with water.I do hope this review helped you.

I hate to give bad reviews but in this case I have to. This is barely even 'paint' as it's so incredibly thin. Literally coloured water. 'Opaque' is the only thing you can get from this. It's just too thin. I feel that unless you are using an incredibly wet brush to get a deliberate effect you should NEVER be getting drips from your brush between palette and canvas! As for 'layering' just forget it as even the lightest possible drawn guidelines bleed through even the BLACK! It's just hopeless. Maybe 'maybe' I just got a 'bad batch'? But for every colour in the batch to have the same issue? No, sorry, just forget about this and use a different brand! Even the ultra cheapo stuff from 'The Works' has greater integrity than I got from this.

I've never really painted before, at least since primary school. I like doing arty stuff, but usually don't find myself having to paint in my little projects and crafty things. I got offered these and, as luck would have it, was about to get started on painting a little stand to put some figures on. And these are really great, I have to say.They come bundled in just a plain, unmarked cardboard box, which I found a bit strange - but the paints themselves are great. High-quality, and thick too, which is just what I needed. You get a good amount in each tube, and they mix well, also. I've been using them without any real trouble, and I am a complete beginner. Believe me, I am really no artist, but I recommend these if acrylic paints are just what you need.

Good quality paint that takes a few hours to dry and has a great range of colour. These were great for using on a canvas for a project and the results were great. The colours easily mixed together and are not too thick so perfect for using with a brush. Good set of paint ideal for using on a canvas
