How is this series so GOOD
This book was so unbelievably good. Honestly Caroline and Susanne have totally blown it out of the water. Have you ever read a story and you can just feel the characters emotions and it’s like they needed their story to be told? That is exactly how I feel when I read Zodiac Academy! To completely build an entire world and have the details be so captivating and interesting, I feel totally submerged in Solaria as I flip between the pages. Having Pitball, creating that game while using the Fae elemental powers is beyond creative. These two authors together are hotter than Darius Acrux’s dragon fire mixed with both of the girl’s Phoenix Fire!Okay, spoilers ahead! The amount of character development in this one...wooo. So intense. I love everything about Max and Geraldine. Make it happen! Geraldine is one of the most entertaining supporting characters I’ve ever read!I knew Caleb and Tory weren’t going to be together, but the way book three went I was feeling sad about it. The way the story wove through their relationship dynamic was genius. It left the reader with acceptance that this is never going any further than what it is right now, and surprisingly I felt okay with it. I do hope Caleb finds happiness.Seth...I can’t even with that dog butt face boi. I think he’s incredibly jealous of Orion when he first discovers the secret relationship with Darcy. As time passed, I think he was slowly realizing that they were really in love with each other. It was refreshing to see him let go of his attitude at Christmas and actually be a decent person. I hope in the next book we can get some more development with his character. What makes him tick the way he does and is there a chance at redemption for his behavior? Also: I was screaming for an MM scene with Seth and Caleb after the hunt. I will pay you dollars to make that happen. The snowball fight: EPIC! It was just what we all needed, a break from the snark and the bullying. Just a bunch of teens having a wonderful time with each other, so carefree.So. The real blows of the story.Tory and Darius. No surprise they’re supposed to be Elysian Mates. My heart was pounding and felt lodged in my throat reading the chapter from Tory’s POV. It’s as if something in Darius needed this clarification from the stars that yes, she is for you, you can let her in completely and it’s OK to do that. Without it, I don’t think he would have ever been able to fully let his walls down.I wanted Tory so badly to give in to him, but I should have known she would be extra and would rather be miserable than have a chance at true love and happiness. Honestly, it infuriated me. I’m not sure that I’ve ever felt so enraged at a fictional character as I do at times with Tory and it’s so bizarre because other times I love her so much. The stubbornness, the trust issues, the self sabotage...I need growth from this girl in the next book. And I also pray to the stars that this can be changed because I’m so disgusted, and it’s not even so much as I feel bad for Darius- I’m so upset that Tory punishes herself constantly instead of seeking happiness.Orion....sweet sweet Orion. I knew this would end in disaster. Of course his sister is in too deep, if they had all communicated better with each other then maybe there would’ve been some pumping of the flipping brakes on the whole plan! Tory was cutting her arm open and losing all sense of time, Clara had gouged her arm with her nails, more thought should’ve gone into this plan! The love between Orion and Darcy is so beautiful. When he gave her the rose quartz to be exclusive, swoon. When he continually made efforts with Tory because he knew how much that would mean to Darcy, love.I am refusing to accept that Orion is gone. And that Tory and Darius will be star crossed forever. Not happening. One other thing that I am a huge fan of with this series is that the authors aren’t jam packing an entire year into one book. With Academy stories that seems to be the norm lately and it’s frustrating as a reader because I feel like I am missing out on weeks worth of the character’s lives. It’s hard to believe this is still their first year, and I hope that this won’t be done after book 7. There is so much potential. Thank you for these amazing stories!

Amazing at the start middle and flop right at the end.
This book was really good at the start and middle part. And then at the end 2 people have their moment as star crossed, and it is the two worst people, and no matter how much the authors try and justify it. It just doesn't make sense from what we already have gotten to know about star crossed people. Those two are the two least likely to actually get the star crossed moment first. And I really hate when authors decide to go away from the lore we already know and start twisting it so they can make more drama and end on a cliffhanger. If an author need to end on a cliffhanger to get people to read the next books, they obviously don't trust in their own ability to write a good book. They do write good books everything up until they decided to make even more drama, and divert from known lore in the process, is just not necessary. This story so far have so much going on. It really did not need more drama, what it needed was personal growth of the characters. And instead of two people getting a personal growth we maybe get 1 person getting personal growth and a whole lot of unnecessary drama.Safe to say highly dissapointed in the ending, to the point I am considering not picking up the next book. At least I will need a long break. But everything else except maybe the last 50-100 pages was exceptional well written, in their usually style with lots of humor, more knowledge about magic and lore of Solaria. Happy and heartfelt moments, and ofc the bullying from the guys that now can be considered teasing and not bullying, and they are not totally terrible. Something I did love, is that the guys have had some personal growth and is starting to think more of their own instead of blindly following what their parents have told them.

wow!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat! Great storyline, just wish it had a little less profanity.

wow
That ending was so depressing and heart shattering. This book had so many ups and downs in it but I feel like the heirs and the Vegas both grew so much. Some secrets came out and I hope this ending isn’t foreshadowing for the rest I’m really hoping this is just a bump in the road and something major is coming to fix it all.

I love the consistency
Spoiler Alert:I loved that Tory didn’t go with the bonding thing. I felt for Darius, because I get where he comes from, I get his “reasoning” for all the crap he did, but I need this man to grovel and work harder to get this love and this happiness he craves so much. The girls are awesome, honestly. I can relate a little bit more with Darcy and her gentle ways, but Tory has been growing on me. They are like perfect opposites, while still being so freaking similar. Tory is the strength, the fight and the fire, while being the one that craves love the most (I dare say the softest). While Darcy is gentleness and her own kind of calm and sweetness, but still, I think she would be the last one standing tall if it came to it, holding everybody.I’m excited for what is coming, wishing for them more moments like the snowball fight scene.

What an ending :(
Phew!! I got through this angsty book again for the third time! And it was just as amazing as the first time! All the characters are just amazing and I love seeing how the twins continue to grow and come into their own. Geraldine is absolutely hilarious and I love her more with every book. The end of this book broke my heart the first time I read this book and has done the same each time since. The first time I read it I was so upset at the characters and really had a hard time understanding why everything happened. The next two times now that I understand I get it but it’s still heartbreaking! This has one of the worst endings in the series but please persevere and make sure to read the next ones as it gets better!!!

Tory WHY???? I’m crying. This one was slower then the others but finally the bullying is decreasing, even though the heart break is not.Still in love with Darius, but I have to admit that in this book also Orion improved sooo much.Poor sweet Caleb will be granted with a good love story at some point, I’m sure!
