Ginseng Tea
Ginseng tea is good for my health. It seems to help reduce inflammation. I drink it once a day.

Potent stuff
I have diagnosed chronic fatigue syndrome. My nervous system is also super sensitive, with out of wack cortisol, so I tend to have adverse reactions to meds and supplements, especially stimulants. Between that and the CFS, caffeine is a big no no.A naturopath advised me to take a supplement for the chronic fatigue, which contains many herbal ingredients and adaptogens, one of which is panax ginseng aka Korean ginseng.I decided to start by drinking teas of the individual herbal ingredients rather than a high dose capsule of all of them all at once, to mitigate any reaction as much as possible. Purchased this panax ginseng tea for that reason. The first day, I used maybe a quarter of the satchet of instant tea granules. I was immediately a rocket ship flying to the moon. I got so much done that day, worked for several consecutive hours doing physically and mentally laborious work, and walked more steps than I had in nearly a year. It was an incredible day for a person struggling with intense chronic fatigue.I did pay the price however, of a significantly elevated heart rate and trouble falling asleep. Both are known side effects of panax ginseng. All said they weren't the worst severity, but it was enough for me to take a step back and not drink any more of the tea for a week. After that weeklong break, I decided to start with just a few granules of the tea at a time. That's been going way better. Literally just 3-6 granules a day, as soon after I wake up as I can muster. It gives me a nice even energy, and so far hasn't interfered with my sleep at night. My Fitbit metrics are improved as well, showing that I'm recovering more efficiently than I was previously after a day of activity. The only drawback is that my resting heartrate has remained elevated after I started drinking this several mornings a week, by about 6-9 BPM. It's not in the danger zone, but it's worth noting that it is having that effect, for anyone with heart issues who might be considering this as an alternative to caffeine. So, if you're sensitive like me, I say give this a try, but start with just a few granules in the morning on a day where it's okay if you don't get much sleep that night. If you have heart issues, maybe steer clear.

My throat owes many thanks
I'm going to be honest with you, I bought this tea because I have issues with chronoc allergies, I need hot fluid to sooth the pain just under my mouth. Here's how you too can save your throat:a cup of boiling hot water1 packet of this stuffa spoonfull of honeytwo splashes of milkThere we go. Helps with allergies, hangovers, and makes a nice gift to that cousin who wants to be like their favorite shonen manga protagonist despite the fact that Jinseng Tea is Korean and they have not left their step fathers basement for eight years of their adult life.
