I've had these aids for over 2 years. I gave them a 4 star rating because I don't have anything to compare it to.My hearing issue is a loss in the 800-1400 Hz range which unfortunately covers most of the human voice range. I kept misunderstanding what I was hearing. My aids were adjusted for this specific problem.My hearing doctor recommended this model because of how active I am. The only problem I've ever had with them dislodging what one time when wearing a stocking cap over my ears, and one was partially loosened when I took the cap off.One of the aids had the lower receiver go out after 2 years, and it was promptly repaired with a 20 day turn-around to the company.I also have the Streamer 2, which lets me listen to the TV at a volume comfortable for me. I can even hear the TV when others have it muted.I am totally satisfied with the performance and support I have received. After 10 years of deteriorating hearing do to aircraft engines and unprotected firearms training, it was wonderful to be able to hear the crickets chirp in the evening!

After over a year of malfunctions and erratic performance I am giving up on these hearing aids and will seek replacements. The company has said that it has replaced "all the components" on two occasions and replaced the complete hearing aids as a last attempt to solve the problems. This did not work and they have refused to refund my money. You have been warned.
