If you want to light up a room with an old fixture, this is for you!
Pros: We have older chandeliers that needed something new over the previous incandescent bulbs. This new LED bulbs are SO much better and provide great light for our bar and event spaces! They fill the room with light and bring new life to our old light fixtures. Our customers at our business always comment about how great the fixtures help present our space in a 'better light'! These are fantastic in dining areas as well.Cons: Wish a bit more of the bulb was clear rather than the white plastic, but that's a minor complaint.

Outstanding light output with extremely low power consumption. Many uses.
The light output with these 5000K bulbs is amazing for only 4.5 watt consumption. They are much brighter than our conventional 40 watt incandescent bulbs. I use them where we have multiple ceiling recessed light fixtures (with a bulb screw-in converter) common in today's housing. When connected to inexpensive light-controlled on-off switches, these bulbs provide very inexpensive thief deterrent lighting for homes, cabins, etc. For our multiple chandelier use, they cannot be beaten. I delayed this review after purchase to allow review of many monthly power bills using these bulbs in our home & lake cabin. The power bills are substantially reduced, & they will quickly & easily pay for themselves. Most friends are impressed with the light output, but immediately make purchases, themselves, when they see the power consumption bill reductions.

Great dimming in a regular dimmer!
Love these. I have a three-bulb ceiling fixture with a regular dimmer that kept blowing all the incandescent bulbs. I had a lot of trouble finding proper dimmable candelabra bulbs. Many require special dimmers, some buzz annoyingly when they're dim, and some turn off when you dim them to lower settings, so they're only really 75%-100% dimmable. These guys rule. No buzzing, huge dimming range, great color on the 2700k, works great with my old-school dimmer. The only two things that some might not like... when you turn them on and they're dimmed, there's a split second delay to them lighting up. I'm sure I'll get used to it, and it's not a problem at 100% power. It's just different. Also, the light could be a bit harsh if you have them in an exposed location. Mine are behind frosted glass, so the light is evened out a bunch for me.

Work great and as shown. Not the greatest design for candle lights though.
LED is so much better than incandescent. Less power, less heat, longer lasting. These are also dimmable so I can use my Smart home controls completely. My only complaint, and reason for the 4 vs. 5 stars, is that the design is not the greatest for a candle light. Usually the fixtures that use these bulbs already have a candle type of appearance which assumes that the bulbs will be the entire flame, but these bulbs have an opaque base that completely destroys this effect of "candle flames." Still, they are functional and that is much more important and they are definitely as described and shown.

Pleasing soft effect if controlled by Dimmers
I replaced the 9 incandescent bulbs in my dining room chandelier with these bulbs. They give off a nice soft light appropriate for a dining room but also because I have a dimmer to lower the brightness. Full brightness is too much even with only 9 bulbs. My Lutron Maestro MAW-600 couldn't handle the lower wattage with the result that it was impossible to turn off all the bulbs even with the dimmer on-off switch set to off. I ended up buying the Lutron Maestro MRF2-6ND-120 for low voltage conditions. It's also wifi-capable although I'm not using that function. Anyway, this new dimmer worked but was very pricey. I have LED inset ceiling lights on dimmers in almost every room and never had a problem. Just be aware that these and any extremely low wattage LED bulbs might cause a problem if you use a dimmer switch. But with my chandelier and dimmer now working great, I'm super happy and expect to use the dining room table for more reasons now that I won't feel guilty about power consumption.

bright; great bargain for the number of bulbs you receive
I purchased these Philips LED bulbs to replace conventional chandelier bulbs in the coach lights on both sides of our garage. These bulbs arrived very well-packaged in individual boxes of 3 and then all together in a sturdy box to make up the whole set of 12. They are nice and bright and installed in our coach lights perfectly. I cannot comment on the dimming capability of these bulbs as it was not applicable to our usage of them, but for the money spent and the number of bulbs you receive, dimming capability or not, these is a great bargain. I will be buying more to replace the bulbs in a chandelier in our entry way.

Beautiful and efficient
We own a mansion with 15 chandeliers with an average of 8 lights in each. The old lights heated up and burned the fixtures. These lights are brighter and the use less than 10% of the power! They also burn cool so they do not damage the fixtures. I have been using for over a year now and have yet to have one burn out. They do have a pretty good dimming range. Occasionally, they do flutter a little bit, I assume from fluctuations in the electric. After seeing how they worked, I replaced all of my chandelier lights and have been very happy!

Look great but hoped they would last longer.
Lights look good and give off great light. However, I got tired of replacing all of my candelabra lights regularly so I decided to go with LEDs. I bought 60 of these and it has only been a few months and 4 of them are already out. I really expected LED lights to last longer especially due to the increased cost. I was buying a pack of 6 for 2 bucks but hated having to replace as often as I did. Was hoping the LED bulbs would last a lot longer. Maybe I just had 4 bad bulbs and the rest of them will last for a long time to come.
