Great quality, style, and price
Perfect! Purchased for summer hiking and biking trip to Norway. Light and compact for backpack, and quality material and design to keep dry from rain and mist. Inner lining was soft and provided nice warmth. Looked great and had no flashy logos. True to size. Best of all, it was reasonably priced. Great quality, style, and price. Again, perfect!

Very impressed with this jacket.
Love this rain jacket. Seems completely waterproof - rain just rolls off. The jacket itself seems lightweight and the material is soft, but is wind resistant. Nice inner mesh lining with inside pocket and the pit zips with mesh are a big help when it’s warm. Clever zipper design makes them waterproof. Comes with its own stuff sack. Am looking forward to taking it on our trip to England this year and Scotland next year. Would recommend

I have some concerns. I'll update after I fully test it.
After reviewing several different 33,000ft rain jackets, I decided to purchase this one, the most expensive of the three. The main selling point was increased water protection and waterproof zippers. I didn't care for the flaps covering the zipper on the cheaper ones. But when I received the jacket today, I realized that this one does not have a feature that the cheaper ones did. I can't fold away the hood into the collar! Big negative for me... Now I am probably going to order the next cheaper one to compare, and then I'll return one of them.Regarding sizing, many reviews stated that these run big. I disagree. For most clothing, I wear size large. I'm 5-10 and weigh just under 180. I was okay with it being a little big, so I went ahead and got a Large. But it's not oversized at all. I'll still have room to layer under it, but it's definitely not oversized. It will probably be a little snug when I put on cold weather clothing. It fits fine with just a t-shirt or polo on. It will be good for warm weather activities in Texas, but may be a little snug when I travel north into colder weather. The jacket quality seems good. Maybe not quite $60 good, but if it does turn out to keep me warm and dry in a windy, cold rainstorm, then I'll be happy with the cost. Zippers look to be good quality, and the lining is reasonably comfortable. I also like the ceramic blue color. At first glance, the bag seemed small. But with a little work folding it to the correct size, it did fit nice and snug into the bag.I'm heading off to Iceland later this month. (July) After I return, I will update this review if necessary.

Great jacket
I’ve been using this as my primary rain jacket now and it works quite well! It is light but repels water well and stays clean. The zipper can snag at times but otherwise it is great quality.

Checks all the boxes
I am 6'2" and 250 lbs. The XXL version was too small but the XXXL is just right, with a bit of slack and suitable arm length. My requirements were a lightweight rain/wind jacket for general travel that is packable, breathable, with handy zippered pockets, non-elastic wrists, fold-away hood, and not too short in length. And a reasonable price. Surprisingly, few of the hundreds of jackets on the market that I have researched meet these specifications. This probably does. It is not heavy (less than a pound). It is packable, but not in the pointlessly undersized packing bag that comes with it. Other reviews give it a fairly good but not top breathability rating - it does have a thin mesh lining and armpit zippers. The ample zippered pockets are precisely what I need - two side, one breast and one inside. The material is soft and pliable. It has all the draw strings you might need in bad weather. I am not yet able to test its water proofing, and leave this to other reviewers. But I think this is going to serve me well as my only jacket when traveling. When cold, a thin pullover underneath should do. When too hot, the jacket gets packed. If it is water resistant as opposed to water proof, that may be good enough for me, since I am more likely to be close to shelter than being stuck on a mountain in a downpour.

STRONG Water proofing, solid construction at 25% of price of premium brands; order your size
We've relied on The North Face rain gear for over a decade, and have been pleased with its performance. However, all our North Face coats now suffer from flaking of interior waterproofing layers with resulting leaks. So this one is my replacement.I ordered XL, and should have ordered just L. So my unit arrived a bit oversized for me, and that is on me.Wife and I have walked over an hour of three major rainstorms-- I'm talking high winds, 4+ inches per hour-- and not a drop penetrated any area protected by this rain jacket! That performance is on par, and maybe exceeds, that of my Gold Standard The North Face jacket, which cost well over four times as much as this item.Love the little packing bag, but have yet to pack the unit into it.Overall... great bargain for great performance/
