Gates Hose Does Not Fit
First let me say that I have been a loyal Gates customer dating back to the 1970's because of their product quality. However, not in this case. Ordered the Gates lower radiator hose for my 96 Fleetwood and it was 3" too short. Ended up reusing the old hose which fit fine. Thought the Gates hose had been shortened and returned. Ordered a replacement and it was exactly the same. Ended up buying a Dayco hose and it was perfect. See the photo. I can guess how this happened. Product consolidation to get rid of slower moving part numbers. This hose fits a variety of applications but not mine. This cost me two weeks of buying and returning hoses to get the right one. This is something I would expect from a Chinese company; not Gates. My preferred supplier for quality belts and hoses is now Dayco.

"Cut to fit" - way off the mark from a proper fit
Not an exact fit! Useless. Admitedly I missed the "cut to fit" in the description. Not even remotely similar. Didn't get around to trying it until 2 months later, a month after the return window closed. Beware of this thing!

Hose for LS Swap
Using this hose for my LS Swap in my 84 firebird. Reviews online say it works great for the swap, I had to trim it pretty good.
