Cox Sees the Environment From All Sides
This updated text by Robert Cox is invaluable -- necessary reading for anyone working in the environmental field. His theoretical understanding of rhetoric, combined with experience as past president of the Sierra Club, puts him in a unique position to take on this topic. He has woven discussion of climate change throughout this new edition and added updated case studies.

Generic notions
I was expecting an articulated analysis of the communication process. The book illustrates in a generic way the communication phenomena around the environmental question. The approach is rather descriptive and encyclopedic.

Worth the money
This book has a lot of really good content. I was reading it in my free time even though it was for class.

It's a good text book. Fairly straightforward. It helped me learn everything for class when I actually read it.

Pretty good/easy read
I don't think many would go out and buy this book if they were not an academic in the field. That said, as a graduate student, this was an easy read. Doesn't bury you in technical information and it flows nicely. The author grabs information from many diverse sources and this is a solid introduction into a growing field.
