I went through a horrible gaslighting experience at work when a group attacked me over some inheritance money my parents left me and they were jealous. I have read over 220 books in both psychology and religion trying to find an umbrella term for it. Gaslighting is that term. I have come up with 90 behaviors that fall under gaslighting. Some of those are baiting, bullying, mocking, false allegations, gossip, calling you crazy, paranoid and more. This was a very thoroughly written book.

I have a narcissist who is a family member that I have sense cut out of my life. This book would have been so helpful. A narcissist will play mind games with you. This will help you see the games they are playing and give you the edge. Once you can see the warning signs you can plan to cut ties. This book will help you do that.

This book gives you everything you need to know to recognize the signs of gaslighting and tools to overcome the effects and extract yourself from an abusive relationship. Highly recommend it.

If you want to get the understanding of how gaslighting works this book gives you all the information you need. They give you the information you need to turn the tables and regain control.

Loved this finished in a night such a easy read also very interesting i learnt alot but also knew alot that you recognised to a t thank-you

The book focuses almost solely on romantic relationships. If you need help from recovering from abuse in the family for example this book is mostly useless. Also it repeats itself a lot and even contradicts itself, saying for example: narcissists cannot love themselves, and then in the next paragraph: a narcissists are only loving themselves. Overall not very well structured.
