usefulness
I do appreciate the comfort of my jacket on those days this past winter when the pool water is so cold for me. I usually sat out water exercises during the winter but I haven't had to since buying this item. A better overall fit could be achieved if there were some form of elastic around the wrist area.

cold protection for water aerobics
Great for my water aerobics class in winter outside. Keeps the water warm near your skin. A little bulky buy worked.May need to size up but they are meant to be tight to keep cold water out.

Sizing may be a challenge.
The quality seems decent. I was frustrated that the sizing is inaccurate. I ordered a small which turned out to be too big for my son. I then ordered an XS. The XS was almost bigger than the small, and was definitely not smaller. I guess I will try another brand.

Definitely will help keep you warm, snorkeling
I bought this last year, for a snorkeling trip ( I think the water was in the high 70's, which was very cold for me). I don't own a full wetsuit, and I was never a fan of using my shortie, since it made me feel claustrophobic. I wasn't expecting much, but this jacket made the difference of me staying in the water 10 min. vs. 45 min. I'm glad I bought it and think it was well worth the price (plus it packed easily into our wet gear bag).
