Hydraulic Hose Crimper

Worked great, I used this as a last ditch effort to fix some poorly crimped ac fittings on my vehicle. The tool was easy to use and I was able to fit it into my vehicle without removing the lines. (Tight fit) The tool I received is the same design as the one pictured, but its painted a different color and the case has a different layout, it also had a hose cutting tool included in mine. But otherwise all the dies pictured were included, along with instructions and a parts breakdown. Added bonus, it did come with a spare set of seals for the hydraulic cylinder. I'm glad I got the hydraulic version of this and not the manual version.

I was hesitant if this would be a pro tool or just a piece of junk. It is good quality and works well! I doubt I would count on this for daily use in an AC shop but for occasional use it really makes perfect crimps. It saved me getting the vehicle to a shop that could do the crimps as the lines could not be removed on this 22yo conversion van. Worked first time and seems like it will for the future. I have been a tech for 30 years and used many crimpers over that time, this works as well as any I have used.

We had a problem with the unit right out of the box. The seller responded quickly and sent a replacement and it worked perfect.

This is a really well built tool. I was able to make a new air Conditioning line for my 59 Chevy. It worked great. The only thing that would be nice is some directions of how to use it. I did figure it out. I feel the tool is a very good value.

I got this for my sons shop after his expensive name brand one broke the first time he used it and they wouldn’t warranty replace it. You could tell from the break it was the bad metal. This one has been used numerous times and has been perfect every time.

Easy to use, AC hose crimps look very good. All the dies are clearly marked as to reduced barrier or standard hose. Have not used for hydraulic hoses, but assume it will work just fine. Also the set comes with a set of seals for the press. Hope that is not a harbinger of the future...

i just use this tool on a complete ac restore on 379 pete truck save me a lot of time and money

Should have tested this when purchased but now out of return period. Didn't work. Took it apart and moved check balls around. Put it back together and got it to partially work. Not perfect but able to crimp my 6 hoses and on to the next project. Make sure you mount it in a vise with the handle up to let the fluid feed the pump.
