This is a very user-friendly standalone device. I wanted to get rid of taking my laptop. I have had this product for a year. I must say that I can do everything that I need to do and carrying a laptop is in the distant past for me at least. I don't need four channels as I am an old school type of DJ use to working of two turntables set up. Great functionality, sturdy, loads fast, and mostly reliable. Two USB slots give you more than enough capacity to carry your music. The set up is amazing. The whole system has a very tactile feeling to it. I am never going back to using a laptop.... for what? This takes me back to the age of before laptops. Everything I need in one spot on one machine thats super-fast with a nice clean output. I can also scratch mix enough to be effective. This is perfect for the mobile DJ. I can see why they are still flying off of the shelves. 5 stars.

**Update (after owning over 1.5 yrs) I would recommend using a power conditioner with the unit so it gets stable power, having intermittent issues with it shutting down upon starting up, leaving the master rec button blinking red. Have since updated the firmware and using with a power conditioner, has not happened since (crossing fingers). Transitioning from vinyl to digital has never been so easy with this setup. Considered going with the XZ but didnt feel I would be using 4 channels very often to make up for the price difference and of course you would also need two additonal decks to truly use the 4 channels in standalone mode. Not to mention, the XZ is far too cumbersome to lug to gigs. The RX3 is perfect. Playing on CDJ2000s at the club, I thought I would be bothered by the smaller jog wheels on the RX3 but not an issue at all. Love the huge touch screen. The crossfader is short, that's about my only complaint. The knobs and sliders feel substantial. This thing looks and feels tank tough.

My Son absolutely loves his DJ set. Good value for the money. He is on this DJ set for hours every night with no problems.

Rx3 is the best mixer in my opinion

The XDJ-RX3 has been a rock solid workhorse for me. I've had close to 50 DJs on this, it works flawlessly and sounds great. Decksaver and soft travel case are a must. The only thing I wish this had was the EQ on the master output like some of the bigger units (XDJ-AZ / XZ), however I value the portability and price of the RX3. I see myself using this for the next 10 years, it does everything I need.

El controlador llegó en perfectas condiciones, la calidad de su sistema es único, ayer mismo la estuve probando y funcionaba de maravilla, incluso conecté un CDJ-900 y la calidad de sonido se mantenía al nivel. Lo único que me parece un poco molesto es el tacto de los pads y el beat jump tiene un tiempo de retraso algo significativo. Aun con esto me parece un producto Altamente recomendable.
