Summerhill Secrets, Volume 2: House of Secrets/Echoes in the Wind/Hide Behind the Moon/Windows on the Hill/Shadows Beyond the Gate (Summerhill Secrets 6-10)

Some reviewers of this series have said they were disappointed to find this series was listed as "child's books" after purchasing, therefore, I think they felt the books would be "simply" written to appeal to a younger set. They are SO wrong!This series is just as riveting and has all the mystery, romance, and intrigue as any of Beverly's books!Yes, it is the story of a young girl (the first books starting when she is about 15). However, MANY of Beverly's books are about young people in the beginning who grow into adults. So, this series is really no different. I am about half way into reading this series, but I am thoroughly enjoying the stories. It has enough mystery and romance to hold an adult's attention.Please do not be put-off by other reviewers who think these are just children's books. They are far from it! Beverly is an excellent writer, and everything she does is top notch in my opinion. She has developed a cast of characters in these books that have depth, personalities, and interest. You get drawn into their lives as you read these books - even though the main characters are teens, dealing with some teen issues, but some "life" issues that we all deal with, too. However, Beverly takes you through their lives with such feeling, and respect for their young perspectives, and it is a joyful read.If you are a fan of Beverly Lewis' so-called "adult fiction"- you will not be disappointed in this series either.

Beverly Lewis is a great author. I love her stories and the way she puts them together.

Summerhill Secrets is a super novel about a 15 yr. old girl, Merry, who follow's God's law and grows as a teenage Christian. The 5 stories in this book are very well written and interesting. This book was a quick read, but still awesome and I learned a lot about the Amish too. Have fun with Merry as she experiences everyday things teenagers can experience today. Summerhill Secrets by Beverly Lewis is definitley a 5 star, must read, book for any Christian teen.

As always Beverly Lewis did not fail, her books are always wonderful. I enjoyed reading this book as much as I have enjoyed every other book that I own of hers

This is the second book of Beverly Lewis's Teen Fiction Summerhill Secrets. It is the continuing story of Merry Hanson and her neighboring Amish family the Zooks. Although this is classified as Teen Fiction these short stories are great for anyone interested in Beverly Lewis or other Amish Fiction. Easy reading and enjoyable stories.

This book is not just for teens! The book gave much insight of an Englischer teens life and situations that must be dealt with. This is also true for the Amish teens life and how the 2 best friends actually distant cousins work together.

bought this series for my mom for christmas last year and she can't get enough she just loves beverly lewis so now she has me reading them and let me tell you they are fantastic highly recommend to any one who would like a simple no harsh violence drugs or sex book to read these

Beverly Lewis - By far the best Amish writer - EVER! She captures your heart from the very beginning to the very end of her stories. I LOVE to read her books. She is captivating in her writings! This was geared towards the teens, but I still enjoyed it!
