Chip breaker starts out great, but seems to drop off considerably about mid way through the life of the insert.But...I have yet to break one of these inserts! I am new to machining and had broken the tip within the first 10 minutes of use on a few "other manufacturers" inserts. Since they all "look" the same, and the specs are supposed to be the same, maybe I am just getting a little better with the lathe. But, these seem to be better. I have already ordered more!

Nice edges cuts well

Using these for a while now in a number of projects with both Stainless Steel and various grades of carbon steel. Works very well, cuts smoothly, and I have not had one break off on the tip yet. Some of the cheaper carbide inserts from other companies break and chip very easily. Recommended.

I bought an index tooling set from an online retailer. I replaced the inserts twice in one project because they crumbled. Since I purchased this set of inserts, I have used one to machine several parts with no problems.
