Very bright. great for older vehicles!
I put these in two Jeeps that have diodes in line with the brake lights so I can flat tow them. The diodes knock about 1.5v off the brake light feed, which means incandescent bulbs are pretty dim on the brake. These babies don't care, they're way brighter than the standard bulbs! One set is now two years old and working fine so I just bought a second set for the other jeep. Great solution for dim tail and brake lights in older vehicles.

Blown away by the brightness!
Couldn’t even see my brake lights, let alone my taillights on my classic triumph motorcycle with stock bulbs. Took a chance and installed these today and holy wow, insanely bright even in the full sun. Just amazed at the brightness. The one light previously emitted was so dim in my garage and with these new bulbs, my whole garage lights up red. Very impressive. Can’t speak of longevity as I just put them in today, but I will probably buy more as spares. Now to order the turn signal bulbs!

1157 is outstanding. I've bought these for all of my older bikes and couldn't be happier. Much brighter than incandescent bulbs and the flashing feature is huge bonus. What uou want in a motorcycle brake light.
