Eary To Replace
My A/C company literally wanted 295.00 dollars to replace this part which only took me about 12 minutes to reinstall start to finish. Please be aware that you must be careful when working around capacitors as they can hold a very large charge. You must make sure that they are discharged before testing them or replacing them. From now on I will always keep one in back up for when my A/C goes out in the middle of the summer. It is very hard or impossible to find an honest HVAC repair company or person in Phoenix.

Save a lot of money
I have two houses with a total of four AC units. Probably 75% of the time one of them goes out it's due to a faulty capacitor. I keep one on hand and replace them myself when one fails. You only need to be marginally handy to do this yourself. In the past it was at least $600 each time I called the HVAC guy. Now instead of waiting a week, I can fix my units in 30 minutes myself and save big bucks.

Worked for 3 days
I was psyched. On Thursday, I took apart my AC and replaced the capacitor and it worked! I instantly thought to order a second just in case this happen again in the future. It now Saturday and it'd dead again, but the second one won't be here till Tuesday. I'm expecting the new one to last 3 days again and I'll just buy a whole new AC because I'm not replacing a capacitor every 3 days

We have water again!
Went to take a shower and no water pressure. Quick test of well components w/ multimeter indicated a bad run capacitor and it was the weekend so no well / HVAC supply stores open. Amazon to the rescue and the price was cheaper than local, plus with 2 day ship, I received it on Monday when the supply stores would be open. Pretty much an identical match to the one I had in my 1 1/2 hp control box, and a quick replacement to disconnect/connect 2 wires. Up and running again for <$13, whereby a weekend service call to a repair company would have been $400+.
