Red Label Abrasives 6 inch X 50 FT 60 Grit Zirconia Woodworking Drum Sander Roll, Cut Strips to Length

I have been buying same grit paper only the backer is thin making installation on drum sander easier. This paper has extremely thick backing. Making it harder to get tight. There is an advantage to this though. Thin backing seems to stretch, you have to keep tightening every couple of boards you sand. This paper once aligned and tight stays that way. Will definitely buy again.

I have a baileigh 25 inch drum sander with two drums and I burned up a piece of the paper so I bought this role to be able to cut my own pieces for it... I had to use cutting shears to cut the paper because it was so thick, should be a lot better than the thin paper machine came with. Would definitely recommend anybody looking for paper for their drum sander.

It has an unexpectedly thick, somewhat stiff backing. I was afraid that would be a problem on my drum sander, but actually the stiffness seems to make it easier to load tightly on the drum. It wears well and stands up to heavier cuts than the thinner stuff I was using, which means I can be lazy and not change to 80 or 60 grit as often. And the emerald green color makes it easy to grab amongst the other abrasive rolls😷

Cut to the length I needed for my drum sander. It was a bit difficult to cut due to the stiffness of the material but it performed well during 30 minutes of continuous sanding. The belt did not clog up and appears to be a cost effective solution to buying individual pre-cut sand paper rolls.

Replaced the low quality sandpaper provided by Supermax for my 19-38 machine with the Red Lable product. Very happy with the upgrade. The sandpaper has proven to be very durable ( no visible wear or reduction in performance after sanding 50+ maple cabinet doors). Heavy duty cloth backing is a great benefit and clearly adds strength and durability.Will buy additional grits - well worth the price (significantly lower per roll than most other options I looked at).

This is seriously heavy sandpaper roll. I am using it on a 10" drum sander. It is much tougher than what I was using. I was having a problem with tearing and fast wear. The zirconia cloth combo seems to solve both problems. It is harder to get on the roll and into the end locks because it is stiffer, but once in it is really good. Plus the cost per use is lower. I will buy again.

Great sand paper for my 10" sander. I have bought a far amount of products from Red Label and so far all of there products have held up very well. i will continue to purchase from them and the pricing is better then the big box stores

This is what you would hope from a sandpaper that you are using on a drum sander. Love it

The roll is over half 3 1/4" wide the rest is 3" have to trim it to 3" to use
