Excellent therapy lamp with 3 white light ranges, plus a 520 nm green light mode for headaches.
The media could not be loaded. I like this light, the design is ok, kind of neat with the sun figure embossed into it, the light is made mostly of plastic, so it feels very lightweight, and just has a plastic swivel stand, however, I really love the green light as I always suffer from headaches and this light really does seem to help calm and reduce headaches, I also appreciate the 3 white light therapy modes, which will be even more helpful in the winter time, for proper use of the sun therapy modes the light should be within 20 inches of your face for optimal effect. This sun therapy light gets nice and bright, it can also get dim, the light doesn't emit UV rays, the remote control is amazing feature, the range is great, and I don't even need to aim at it, it just works, the light has buttons on the back to set all the functions and timer as-well, it includes a 24v 750mA AC/DC plug for power, which connects to the lamp via DC barrel plug connector. The light is nice and easy on the eyes, I don't notice any flicker or noise, it features 20 levels of brightness incremental by 1 using the + - buttons, or you can quickly set 10%,50%,100% using the buttons on the remote, then it has 4 lightbulb icon colors, each representing the light color, white is 6000K, brown is 4600K, the orange is 3000K, and the green is green light at a specialized 520 nm wavelength that helps with headaches, the lamp also has an option timer mode, which can be set to 15,30,45, and 60 minutes.Overall I recommend, the white light color ranges plus the brightness controls are great for sun therapy lighting to simulate daylight, and green light mode make this light a great choice for migraine help, plus the remote control makes it super easy to use to change modes quickly. My only con is that you can't see what the timer is set to when using the remove, as the indicator light is on the back of the lamp.

I think they're worth a try
These are different and take a little getting used to, but I love the idea and convenience of them. I'm not sure about the results but think that someone who lives in an area with even less sunshine than me (in Arkansas) could possibly benefit way more from them than I've personally been able to. I've never really been affected by SAD in the past, but this winter it hit me really hard, and my body was craving sunshine so badly. I didn't realize how much my mood was being affected until the first day that the sun came out in weeks, and it was such an immediate boost. Unfortunately, these glasses do not give that same immediate effect. And every time that I would start demonstrating consistency with using these, would correlate with when the sun finally decided to come out. So, I'm not able to give reliable results. I think that if I lived in an area with less sunshine than we got this winter though, that I would most definitely give them a try to see if they possibly helped. They're a little weird but not uncomfortable. They should adjust to most head sizes and can be worn while you multitask. They possibly helped me a little, but I can't say for sure either way. They didn't instantly help but could over time. I think they're worth a try if you're willing to be consistent with wearing them.

Nice little 'chase the blues away' helper!
You might feel a little on the silly side for wearing these odd looking glasses.Ignore that feeling. And don't wear them like glasses, either ^_^.*Wear these resting just above your eyebrows.*It's suggested to use them first thing when you wake up for 15 to 45 minutes- depending on whatever situation you feel you need them. Me personally I have used them in the early morning while I am running around getting things done before the day starts for the rest of the household. I have been using these for a little over a couple of weeks and I have to say they have brightened my overall dour/sour Wintertime mood. I've used it randomly mid afternoon with all of the overcast and cold that comes with Midwest wintertime and I have noticed my own emotional uplifting. I DO believe this is a bit psychosomatic but for the price it helps. Now I have a severe Traumatic Brain Injury and have been dealing with the depression you would normally get during the winter when you're stuck indoors for days at a time. I have been so chipper and smiles these past couple of weeks. Now mind you these are my own experiences. This is not a medical device and you should defiantly speak to your Doctor or other mental health care professional. I think these will help you chase the moody blues away if you just have slight seasonal depression. Even for those days that are sunless due to clouds everywhere. And remember this is not a medical device. If you are having severe depression to please see a mental health professional!Have a beautiful day!

Such a strong plastic/chemical smell
Such a strong plastic/chemical smell That I may not be able to use or review this product. I had to place everything, including the box, outside. It gave me a horrible headache. It's likely I'll be returning it.

Excellent quality.
I bought this make as they were £50 cheaper than the competitor products. This was also the only unit with the choice of white or blue light which allows you to choose which works best for you. The product is solid and well built which is important for long term use. The glasses come with a really nice protective case and charger wire.
