I am size 12 women's clothes and this size large fit perfectly. I won't be as nervous about falling when I'm skating with my grandkids, these pads are THICK & CUSHIONY.

I bought these for my first time ever going snowboarding. I’ve never played snow sports, never surfed, and never skateboarded, so I absolutely knew I’d spend more time falling than shredding (plot twist: I was very right). I’m so happy I bought these! I had two other friends with minimal snowboarding experience who bought different protective shorts and they’d complain about how sore their bums were from falling the days prior. I truly didn’t feel any bum pain the days after!! In the moments of impact I felt protected and landed softly, even when the slopes started getting hard and icy. I can’t wait to use these for future snowboarding trips, and for learning how to skate when it’s warmer out!

I usually wear S, bought S, and it fits perfect. Great protection, I fell a few times when practicing basic tricks on my inline skates, and it didn't hurt at all. They have amazing amortization. I wear them under my loose gym suit ( ad on one od the pictures). Once someone comment that I have butt like a bus hahaha xD be aware... I love them and wear them anyway, I feel secure and confident when attempting tricks.

Have to pull them waist high for the back piece to cover my tailbone. But other wise, padding is thick and makes a difference when falling on your butt. Bonus feature, keeps my butt warm against the cold metal lift chairs lolI'm 5'9", 165lbs, and 31 waist. Medium is a perfect fit

I bought the used version and this would be excellent protection. I ordered for BMX single track and unfortunately they don't fit under my gear so I had to return.

It was my dad's first time snowboarding and this really saved his back. As we all did on our first day, he fell countless times. Just a day after coming back from 4 day trip to Snowshoe, he said he didn't feel much pain other than some minor bruising and swelling. I wish I had this when I began snowboarding. On my first slope run, I realized even just falling on my butt to strap my boots WITHOUT the pads hurt far more than wiping out at the terrain park going too big WITH it on. I wore this on top of my base layer and since I usually wear loose bib, it didn't look weird or feel uncomfortable after just couple of minutes. A must have for all snowboarders. The thin "high quality" pads at the resort store was over 130. Think of your safety and I assure you won't regret spending a little bit for this. Also, always wear a helmet while snowboarding; don't learn the hard way, because you will. Stay safe. Keep on shredding.

Padding seemed to be protective, but it was VERY bulky and uncomfortable. I could see these being useful for snowboarding or other similar activities, but for my use, it was just too bulky

I bought this on sale. The price was significantly lower for XL and XXL than other sizes and other products. I’m at 33 inches for waist and XL is a very good fit for me.From a protection perspective, the padding may not be as much as other products on amazon but all the critical areas are well protected. It will definitely do its job to prevent bone injuries. It is soft and light enough to offer a comfortable experience.

Snowboarding everyday for a week these were amazing. I genuinely think they saved my from at least five really bad falls. One I was doing 360's and landed on right on the side of my hip and didn't really feel much.
