Swanson Immunobiotic Immuno-Lp20 50 Milligrams 30 Veg Capsules

I’ve been taking this for over a week and then contracted influenza. These have been the mildest symptoms I’ve experienced when dealing with the flu. I can’t say for 100% the mild symptoms are from the probiotics, but I feel that is the reason. What I CAN say for 100% as a teacher, I will be taking this every year during cold and flu season.

It's a great idea to take a dose of probiotics every day, and this Swanson product is pretty good. I'd never heard of probiotics called immunobiotics before, but I suppose it makes some sense, since probiotics reputedly do help one maintain a strong immune system.The price is reasonable enough, and Swanson has pretty good products overall. I have been buying from them for years, but had just not tried this item before.Glad to have had a chance to try it out through Amazon Vine.Recommended.

As far as taking this in general, it is a small capsule which is easy to swallow and so far has not cause me any intestinal upset or stomach pain. Some probiotics cause gas and pain, which seems to be an expected side effect, but one I really don't like, so I'm pleased that this product does not cause me any issues.Came in a small bottle, and not some huge oversized bottle, which I appreciate as it saves space on my shelf and wasted plastic.This is one of the few products I've run across that actually has significant good results shown in studies and not just some marginal results that make is seem like it is effective - but that this is an effective ingredient. I ran across and article on Pubmed about daily intake of Heat-killed Lactobacillus plantarum L-137 and how it decreases the probing depth of dental pockets in patients receiving periodontal treatment, and that got my attention. And that it also has been shown to activate innate and acquired immunity in humans. So it seems that those dental pockets some of use seem to get as we age, are made smaller (not as deep) by taking HK L-137, the ingredient in Immuno-Lp20. This of course takes a good bit of time and I haven't taken this long enough to gain that benefit - yet, but I am very hopeful.
