The first one that I received appeared as it was a used one. It did not work. Returned it and got another one. The new one lasted only a year before the plastic battery cap on the necklace monitor cracked. Good idea for a product but cheaply made.

My husband has Parkinson's, COPD and 2 different heart issues. He fell 2 times within a week and the 2nd time he broke his pelvis. He can no longer climb stairs and sleeps on the first floor of our house while I sleep on the second floor. We didn't want the 911 system because he doesn't always need 911. This system is awesome! I am so glad we purchased it. We currently have the system set up to just call me since currently I am always home with him. If I return to work we will add more numbers. I did have a slight problem when I programed in my phone number, totally my fault and during a test it called 911. I called the support number and within one hour I received a return call. The tech was extremely pleasant and helpful and was able to reprogram the machine. She stayed on the phone with me while doing another test. I couldn't give this product a higher rating! It is exactly what we needed!

This is the third of the same type of product I have purchased for my mother. The first one is still set up in her house. The second I had to return because it was not as advertised and seemed very complicated. This one is remarkably easy to set up--the instructions are some of the best and clearest I have ever seen. I set the monitor up at home so I could test it before taking it to my mother's. Everything worked exactly as it was supposed to. The voice on the machine is loud and clear (important for seniors who are hard of hearing). The pendent is much lighter than I thought it would be, which is good. I tested the device and it worked perfectly! The company offers professional monitoring as an add-on for only $19.99 a month, which is much less than what I am paying now for her current system and less than other products I researched. I had a question about that, and since it was a Saturday, I elected to email rather than call the contact number listed for the company (their phone customer service was not open on weekends) I got a response to my email within an hour and the reply was so personal--not the usual robotic type companies send. So far, I am delighted with this product and their service!

There is nothing wrong with this product, I’m sure it works well but just make sure that the person you are buying it for has a touchtone phone because if they don’t it’s 100% useless.

I am blind and had no trouble setting this up for my elderly mother. Once the directions were read to me, I was able to enter the 4 contacts using the built in audio prompts and announcements. Very easy to setup. The call button is big but I really like the ability to talk into it directly.

The neck receptor is a bit heavy for mom, she doesn't like the wrist band either, so doesn't use it unless I remind her. A bit of a pain to program or reprogram and you do need to place the receiver in the center of the home so you and they can hear the conversation. Haven't tried it enough to be positive it is as functional for a senior as it should be. They can't reason and understand so well with dementia.

Took a little to figure how to set up. Customer service was great in helping with that. Working good.

We live next door to my 80 year old mother in law. She uses a walker and recently fell in the middle of the night. We purchased this because there are no other fees. She can push the button when she needs help and it will dial 4 contacts before 911. I wish there was an option to purchase a couple more of the walkie portion. It would be nice to have a couple around in case she forgets to have the other one on or in reach. She loves the additonal independence and feels less alone. Highly recommended!
