Worked to create a laptop bag with a shoulder strap
I used these on a small laptop/iPad case to add a shoulder strap. These were easy to add after creating a hole in the sides of the case with a big embroidery needle, on the thicker side I did have to clip it open a bit wider with embroidery scissors, but it did work. I put a little glue on the screw so it wouldn't unscrew with use and it worked perfectly to give my laptop bag shoulder strap a place to connect to the bag. It looks like it was made that way. I'm a happy camper.

Don’t work
I returned this product because it is not as described. The finish is gold-toned, not brass, and the part is jammed, making it impossible to unscrew and fit to my wristlet.

Unscrews too easily
It was very easy to convert my never full pouch into a crossbody. However, it continually unscrews and comes apart on its own when you're wearing it. It's too bad because I really liked the look of it.
