We bought this to clean our downstairs and now use our old Sebo X4 for cleaning upstairs. Some reviewers say the X7 isn’t as powerful as the old X4. Well, there might be a modicum of truth there but the relevance to the cleaner is nil - zilch. Honestly. This is a powerful and effective cleaner. It cleans as well as our X4.We are thrilled with our new X7 Pet. It is a pleasure to look at, hold and use. It cleans brilliantly and is so very easy to use. Yes, it can topple over using the extension hose if you don’t hold it or lie it down. But, really - that’s a criticism?! It’s just a trick to learn, no more.The bags mean no dust when it’s emptied. None. And they last ages before the machine shows its time for a new one and the vacuum loses no power while it fills. The vacuum just packs the dust into the bag so tightly it lasts and lasts. Extraordinary.It’s an expensive vacuum that’s made in Germany. But made to perfection! It’s worth every penny. Our X4 is donkeys’ years old now and still cleaning perfectly. This X7 will last as well, I feel sure.Thank you Amazon and Sebo!

I purchased this to replace a 13 year old Oreck upright. I was initially concerned over the weight of this machine after the previous lightweight Oreck but it’s been no problem. It’s a delight to use, excellent suction the carpets and hard floors look cleaner than they have for years. It’s a busy rural/ coastal household with three large dogs, plenty of mud and sand to contend with. The Sebo has admirable dealt with everything really well. The onboard tools and wand are great, so easy to reach cobwebs and skirting boards alike. It lifts dog hair from furniture really well and stairs are very easy, the only thing you need to watch is it tipping over when using the hose/ wand. Good length electric cable and extension hose if required. Seems well made, simple to assemble out of the box. The dust bags and filters are certainly good at keeping doggy odours locked away, absolutely no smell from the bag which has a large capacity. Highly recommend and excellent price from Amazon with very quick delivery.

This sebo vacuum cleaner is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for a vacuum and its performance is absolutely incredible. While it isn’t lightweight it does make up for it with its Incredible section it will leave no dirt or any hair behind especially if you have a long hair pet like myself. The automatic height adjustment is also a complete bonus and ensures that it’s on the proper settings for both hardwood and carpeted floors. The vacuum itself comes with a generous amount of attachments that will suit all your cleaning needs and it has a hose extension if needed.While I was initially skeptic all about having a bagged vacuum thinking I would be replacing the bag constantly I’ve been using this one now for 2 months and I am pretty sure I’ll be able to get another month out of it. I vacuum several times a day.I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It’s simple and reliable. Simply a vacuum without all the unnecessary extras.

I have been a dyson fan for over 30 years with a brief year trying airram k9 out (epic fail for hair wraps damaging brush bar) after using a sebo in my cleaning work I was impressed in a mostly tiled & laminate floored household but doubtful it would cope with my textured deep pile 1970s bedroom carpets & equally hideous but hard-wearing Axminster patterned carpets downstairs (don't judge budget doesn't allow me to rip them up & renew them....yet) bought from amazon with a 25% off offer making it almost £150 cheaper than direct from sebo with a 10% new customer discount. Very simple to put together went over right after I'd used dyson ball upright (which is on its last legs) and was shocked at the difference (and the amount of dust and pet hair collected in the bag) the thick textured bedroom carpets are actually CLEAN for the first time ever no hot dust smell emitted from vacuum & the extension hose & turbo brush made short work of the stairs to say I am impressed with the performance of the pet version is an understatement the carpets are still ugly but soft & clean no mean feat with 2 Hungarian Pulis & a constantly moulting flatcoat that love country life so I am truly grateful to finally find a powerful vacuum that copes with all life can throw at it a sturdy well built cleaner with huge bag capacity & superb filtration why it's not yet a household name in the UK is beyond me it's amazing
