I've purchased 2 of these now (2022 and 2024) and they fit the bill. My cats are both pretty heavy scratchers but the boy thinks the point of scratching is to destroy, so no scratching posts with twine or carpet lasts really long. The fact that he hasn't been able to destroy these is a testament they should flaunt on an infomercial. I got some 12x2 wood, cut to the length of these mats, and screwed the mats to them. So I have two of these scratching pads they can stand on top of and give it their all. I am making a third that I will screw to plywood and then to the wall so that they can get in a good stretch as well. The mat I got in 2022 looks the same as the newest one so durability is not a question.

Pretty happy with the scratcher. You do need to either be able to mount where there is a stud, or use wall anchors.We did get a wrong part with the initial shipment, but Natalie from 7 Ruby Road shipped out a replacement very quickly. I would certianly keep them in mind for future purchases and recomend this product, and their support.

I like that we don’t have to buy a whole new scratching post. Just replace the pad!

Bought for my cats 1.5 years ago and they loved it. I like the aesthetic of it. But the sisal pad needs to be replaced and every time I come on here, it’s out of stock. Otherwise, I’d be a life long customer.

Exquite Product! My cats use the hell out of these very durable scratch mats. After more than a year of hard use, by 3 cats, I ordered this perfect replacement mat. It came promptly and was easy to re-install.

It was folded so that ruined the expectations of some thing nice. I’m sending it back.
