IntegyRC Model SCM2701 Matrix Pro Motor 27 Turn Brush Type Speed Tuned w/Adjustable Timing

Bought a couple of these motors, had one in the past that I put through hell and back, and still runs today in another truck, bought a new one of these motors had a little run with my crawler truck around the parking lot for about 30 minutes to wear in the motor, then me and a few buds went rock climbing with our trx4’s drove the truck through a fresh water stream and noticed the motor acting weird about 10 minutes after had to turn the truck off because I didn’t want to damage the motor got home and tookIt apart and the motor was burned up, cleaned it up put it back together and it worked but ran it again and same issue persisted and started smoking up and making the water black contacted the seller and they told me the motors aren’t meant for water and that was that, so if your looking for something that can crawl or trail through water do not buy this motor they aren’t as reliable as they use to be good for dry trailing or climbing
