Nice intro to ETFs in the "for Dummies" style
I've heard so much about ETFs, but didn't really know who to ask who wasn't trying to sell you ETFs! I like this book because the author give a lot of good material and explanations about ETFs, how they work, how they work with/different from other things like (index funds, bonds, etc.). He also includes side info and thoughts about investing generally which often coincides with material I have read from Ed Slott, Susie Orman, Christine Benz, WealthTrack, Jane Bryant Quinn, Wall St. Week, Mr. Bernstein, and others and he is upfront about where he is coming from and ultimately says everyone's situation is different so you have to decide how to proceed. I also like that he explains investing concepts that are peripheral to investing in general, retirement, etc. Very helpful book. I strongly recommend if you have ETF questions/want to educate yourself before investing or getting investing help separately.

Clear and well-Written
Mr. Wild has written a very readable book that can serve as an introduction to investing in equities as well as an introduction and manual to working with ETF's. It not only describes how ETF's work on a general level but also goes into detail about some of the main Fund Families and some of the individual funds.

Highly Recommended Read
Very good book, easy to follow. Great reference material. Can't believe I read all 408 pages as fast as I did. Thanks Mr. Wild.

A great book
A great book and the fact that my copy shows that it's been well used is proof that I've found it interesting and useful. Unfortunately it focuses on the USA market which means some of the content isn't directly relevant to those of us in the UK.

Good enough, but I missed that is US based
A good book in terms of an overview of ETFs and some interesting investment strategies for spreading risk, which is what many people reading it will be after. But the ETFs selected are US based. There is a mention of foreign ETFs and the logic of why he makes the choice is well laid out. So its my bad really for not picking up on the US bias. A good book overall and well worth reading if ETFs are more attractive than individual shares.
