Just received mine. very hard to open with small, older hands. have to lean against kitchen counter. how can i loosen the opening?

how does this work when carrying groceries on your shoulder and using s walker?

i love these things. What i do, is, i balance a few bags on Front of handle, and a few bags of about same weights, on Back of handle, CLICK IT SHUT and place the padded handle right over my shoulder. So, some bags are in front and some hang down my back. THen, both of my hands are free to hold rail to walk up the stairs to my apartment. I have two of these "click and carry" handles and so sometimes put a handle over each of my shoulders, if the total weight of all my items are not too too heavy. Otherwise, i leave some things in car to bring into my home later. IF you are co-ordinated and able to walk with some bags hanging on your shoulders, then you could use a walker since your hands are both free to hold the walker. If you are quite frail and weak, or fall over easily, then i am not sure if you could do it.
