High Quality case but flawed
I have always used Lifeproof iPhone covers and have used them them out running, hiking, biking and canoeing. In addition I have taken them gorge walking and coast steering in the course of my work. I have used them in the mountains in storms and been totally immersed in water many times and the cases have only failed me once. Even then it was acceptable as the case was a few years old when the touch button seal failed as it had perished with time and use.I always do a good soak test of them empty first to make sure they are waterproof before they are put to the ultimate test. This one is no different and it has a good soak test for two hours and as expected the innards are as dry as a bone. The case is of high quality and the addition of the turn switch to mute the phone is great as that function was very hit and miss in the past. As of yet I have not taken it out on my normal activities but I expect it to function as normal and keep out the elements. If not I will update this review. This case is a tighter fit than previous cases and it was quite hard for me to close it properly around my iPhone 13 Pro Max but I guess it will flex slightly and get easier with time. The down side of this case is that there is a slight increase in the gap between my screen and the screen protector. This means the touch screen is around 20-30% less responsive and you can also hear the tap tap of the plastic when you use it. The gap is more so than previous cases which is a pity as it means I will now not be a permanent case for my phone as normally happens and I will look for another daily use case. The plastic flexy hinge on the charging port cover also looks quite flimsy and I fear this is the weak point on this case and I anticipate it will be the first thing to go (see picture).I have also seen some reviews/questions about the ability to attach a lanyard. Yes, this case has this ability on the bottom left of the case (see picture). However it is only a small metal tooth that seals the lanyard in when you close the phone cover and it is incredibly small. You will only be able to get a very small 1-2mm diameter cord in there at the most. This is not substantive enough to give me reassurance for an expensive phone when I am in the water.Overall I would mark this case with a 6/10. It looses a mark each for the lanyard attachment and Flexi hinge cover and two marks for the not so perfect screen response.

IPhone 13 case
It’s amazingly robust and very protective. I’ve dropped my phone down a flight of concrete stairs and not a scratch on the phone and the screen is intact.Only four starts because the little hatch to access charging port has come off meaning the case won’t be waterproof any more.

Brilliant
I’m a farmer and my phone takes a beating the case has kept it like new.DUST, it keeps it out, my favourite thing about it. An o ring is between each side of the case and around the plug/hatch to the charging port. There are little screens around the mic and speaker, work perfectly, sound gets through, dust doesn’t. Zero dust gets in. Iv had the phone weeks through a dry dusty harvest and not had to take the case off to wipe the screen once.Biggest negative is the screen cover is not that durable like glass. But as long as you don’t have anything like metal, hard plastic or wood touching the screen in your pocket it won’t scratch. If found that easy. For a start the screen cover feels proud of the phone screen and you have to press it down before touching the screen which makes it a bit awkward, BUT after a few weeks it’s maybe stretched and now sits flush to the screen. However, this might of only happened for a start as I have one of those tempered glass stick down covers on the screen that I think now I probably shouldn’t of bothered putting on as no dust gets in anyway. The case is grippy but not so much that it’s difficult to get in and out of your pocket.Haven’t really dropped it much but it seems fairly protective from dropping.Great case. Better than an otterbox, I had one before. Probably better drop protection with the otterbox but the otterbox does not stop dust so I was constantly taking it off to clean the screen and inside of the case. This lifeproof case will most likely last longer too.

Great for a none tradesman
Had the case for over a month now. Its great. Durable safe, well sealed. Taken photos in the hot tub with the wife and kids etc and was perfect! Its bulky as expected but over my daily use the camera cover plastic has scuffed/scratched to the point where my camera does not work at all. It is so blurry. The scratches are minute but the phone cameras just focus on them nothing else. Also the same scenario with the front screen. The plastic front scuffs and the face ID camera struggles to work now. Lasted 5 weeks in all will need to find another. I am a tradesman so it does get a lot of dust and debris all over it. Great case. No good for grafters. Star rating is my own personal review, was expecting better with the name “Lifeproof”
