I like the design
Easy to use, I like the design, great durability i dropped it from 22feet(from the roofline of a 2 story house)on a paved surface and didn't break. I have used it mostly on RG6 and RG59, but it works great on RG7 and RG11 too, cuts the correct depth doesn't scratch the center conducer. The blade for cutting the Ethernet jacket is good too, but have to recheck the adjustment due to the fact that I place it in my tool bag and sometimes gets moved. But still 5stars

Have used it on multiple brands of coax without problems.

Worth the money
These are great wire strippers/cutters for data cables. I run a lot of Category style cable of different ratings, and I actually own two sets of these just in case I lose one. Great to have, make cutting and terminating wires a lot easier.

Perfect size, low weight and very handy!
It's a very useful tool and it has the possibility of change the blades when they comes useless, eventually. You can cut most common RG59,RG6 cables with a very low effort and also do the perfect cut to attach to it a F-type connector. It also cuts RJ45 cable and others. It's easy to use and also has the perfect size to take up even in your pocket!

Jonard UST-500 Cable Stripper
This is a versatile, very good, easy to use cable stripping tool. The instructions say to rotate 3-5 times when stripping coax. I was somewhat skeptical, but it proved to be true. The performance is MUCH better than common cheaper stripping tools. The only reason I have docked this one star is that while the instructions are accurate, they are not complete. There are no instructions for using the dial to adjust the blade for cutting round network cable (second position) other than to do the adjustment. Additional detail such as an explanation of the factory default (if there is one), which way to turn, what turn increments have what effect on blade height, etc., would be really helpful. The instructions are printed on the cardboard backing of the packaging. While efficient, I would prefer a copy printed on an inserted sheet. I could fold it and more easily place it in my cable tool kit, or 3-hold punch it and store it in a notebook.Overall, I Iike this tool and feel it is good value. If you are pro cable installer, you might want a better and more heavy duty tool. If you're a hobbyist/weekend warrior, this will more than do the job.

Really Nice!
Bought the equivalent (not really) Klein version from the local home store. Not only was this one less expensive through AMZN, but it is MUCH better built with some nice features such as the Velcro shielding "puller" that the Klein lacked. I'm just a home owner, but wanted to make some custom length coax cables. Probably overkill for lite use, but I can see it holding up in everyday professional environment with no problem.I used this with both standard RG6 and RG6 quad shielded cable with no issues. Works great!BTW, the Klein got returned...

Time Saving Coaxial Cable Stripper
I was unsure at what I wanted in a cable stripping tool. This tool offers the ability to cut Cat5 Network cable. It requires a little testing to get the cut level correct. Be sure you test it out before you want to install Cat5, you may find that the blade cuts the pairs if you set it to deep. I found that by decreasing the cut and having it score the cable opposed to cutting it, works better. You will have to pull the jacket but it works very well. The best part of the tool, is the ability to cut RG59 cable to the perfect specifications for a compression BNC fitting. It will cut the black(or white depending on the cable color of your choice) and then it will do a second cut of the insulation to reveal the copper line AND then cut that copper cable at the correct length(1/4") for the compression fitting. For reference, I used the compression fitting Amazon Search Text: B0063KE4I0I used the compression tool Amazon Search Text: B0042PNZM4The other plus is that if the blade goes dull, you can flip it and use the other side. If both go dull you can purchase a replacement. You have to like a tool that you can replace blades in and not ONE and DONE.Top notch!!

efficient and easy-to-use
A nice tool for preparing wire for termination with the appropriate connector. Seems robust and definitely easy to use.
