This is a perfect short hose to attach to my dehumidifier for drainage instead of emptying the water bucket.

Finally found the length I needed and it works great

I submitted a question about the internal diameter of the hose and got wrong answers. I received my hose today and found the interior diameter of the hose to be 3/8" not the 1/2" that was reported. I needed the bare end of the hose to fit a 1/2" barbed connector and this hose will not, as its diameter is 3/8". I suppose if you heated the hose up it might stretch to 1/2" but that could damage the hose.

The toughest part of installing this hose on our new dehumidifier was getting it to unkink from the packaging so that it would route to the sump pump the way we needed it to. I like the smaller diameter of the hose compared to a garden hose, as it cuts down on unnecessary bulk. Next gauge of value will be how it holds up over the years: will it remain flexible or will it get hard and brittle. I'll update if it becomes a problem.

Perfect for my needs. Used it to drain from my portable AC when it is in Dry mode (dehumidifier).It fit, and screwed on perfectly, zero leaks, perfect length, very happy.

I bought several of these to drain dehumidifiers in to a drain in my basement. Given no exposure to UV I can't say how they will hold up outside. They were much cheaper than anything locally.

I needed a floor drain hose for a CED35A Coast Air dehumidifier I got at busy beaver (that model says it comes with the floor "kit" but that only means the threads on the back). I did have leaking at first like other reviewers mentioned, but the following made it work. Use the rubber ring that comes with the hose, but hand tight on to the threads won't cut it. I used channel locks to ease the brass ring tighter, the edge of the threaded adapter must hit the rubber ring or it will leak. I also used teflon pipe tape around the connection between the hose and the brass ring. No more leaks, hope it holds.

I got this for my humidifier. It does it perfectly, and I don't have to constantly keep going to the basement to drain the water from the humidifier.

Fit my Danby dehumidifier like it was made for it. Love it. When the hose leaked a little I just added the rubber washer and it was fixed.

Dehumidifier connection. So far it works but it’s less than a month in use . It’s not leaking.

At first, it leaked because I didn't notice there was a rubber washer included in the bag. Popped that sucker on and voila, no leaks! Only complaint I have, is maybe the price is a bit too high, but I'd say its worth never having to empty the dehumidifier bucket again.
